Tamera's POV

I was walking to my car after stuffing my book bag in my locker. I guess I'll drive to Peppa's Pizza for lunch. You just gone leave campus? Yeah, they allow Juniors and Seniors that drive to leave campus. Honestly waited 2 years for someeee type of respect. Sophomore year was alright. I was alone most of the time. I don't really like the girls here but I had to be friends with most of them. Only cause Johnny introduced me to them. He felt like I needed to get around more and have a social life. Not gonna lie, the 2 going on 3 years that me and Johnny been together has really changed a lot. YES GIRL. We're together and honestly it's the best choice I made. Lemme tell you how it went down.
It was at open house 9th grade year. He would bother me all the time and that night I wanted to know why. While he was with his PARENTS, I walked to him and said hey. As soon as he was about to insult me or anything he looked at his mom and then back at me. He was all like "Wassup 'mera. I like your hair. It compliments your face." I couldn't help but smile but it was funny! I didn't take it serious.

"Thanks can we talk for a bit?"

After I said that, I pulled him to the side.

"Okay now what the heck was that?"

"Just chill my mom is on my ass about girls right now."

"What'd you do?"

"She don't want me to be a .. eff boy"

"Ain't it's too late for that?"

He punched my arm a lil.

"No, i'm tryna show her I want more from a girl then play."

"Ok, I kinda don't care about your issue."

"Since when'd you become the mean one?"

"This is the longest we've talked without you bullying me. I want to know why you always bother me. What do you want?"

"What you talking about I don't bully you."

"You always got something crazy to say towards me."

"Whatever."

"Can I trust that you leave me alone?"

From then his mom stepped up.

"Honey is he giving you an issue? Has he been giving you issues?"

I looked at Johnny.

"Nah, he just likes to bother me so I wanted to know why."

"I only bother you cause I like you."

After he said that I just stood there.

"If you like her why don't you act like a GENTLEMAN and tell her John?"

"I'm sorry Tamera."

They walked away and I don't even know what the hell to do with my self.

Man, after that I went up to him like two days later when I noticed he wasn't bothering me.

"Hey I haven't seen you in a minute.."

"You tryna make me soft too?"

"No, I wanna know if you're okay."

"Didn't think you cared about my issues.."

"I just tried to be mean like you was to me.."

"Yeah alright."

"You like me yes?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh, come on! You like me."

"I don't. That was a lie. Just to get my mom off my slab"

He opened his locker and flowers fell out.

"Oh, well ima get to class.."

As I was walking away he held them out with his head in his hands.

"Be my girlfriend."

I turned around.

Johnny... is asking me to be his girlfriend.

"I thought you didn-"

"Yes or no.."

It was like weird but I said yeah sure. At first I was just going with the flow. Next thing I know, I liked him more and more. I seen the real him. The one he always tried to hide behind his f*ckish ways. I met new friends with him and of course every now and then we'll hang out or whatever. I met this one girl named Ashley. We became closer than ever. So yeah, she's my bestfriend. I don't usually bring up Chris no more. Johnny asked me about him and that's where I ended it there. No more of that. He wants to ditch me for people that's using him then so be it!

I hate always being the one who gotta drive to get the food. Why can't sheee get the food. Maaann my mama been real antsy lately.. She better not be pregnant. Don't got time to think about what position Noel had my mom in. Anyways,

L.A what can I say? It's been the best years of my life! My mom finally got cleaned up and found her someone who's taking care of her well. I'm loving my new life. I was here before my mom moved back. Like after I left... that place, I came here with my grandma. I got a job then she taught me how to pay rent and stuff like that. Year later my mom came back and told me she wanted to start over. I helped her continue her cleanse and then she found someone and they've been together for two years! I'm happy for her. Me and my babygirl Jolina has spent three years together. Although this long distance is something i'm not used to, it's fine cause I visit her from time to time and we facetime and text A LOT. She understands what I was going through and decided that love ain't gone settle. We gone stay together no matter what. We trust each other. She did ask why I haven't moved back... Im a junior now ain't no moving back. My life is here..plus Noel got me into football sophomore year so why leave now? My life just got started!! I'm happy.

What about pictures? I can make my stories more interesting now! Sorry i'm so boring but ima make them lit from now on!
