Lovers and Friends was about to blast through the speakers and at this point I had enough of watching Johnny switch girls. I got up passing by this table where I bumped someone hard.

I looked at Chris and my knees grew weak.

"You came?"

"You came.."

"I thought you left?"

"I thoug- I did. I mean I didn't"

"You wore my outfit?"

"I hope that's not an issue.."

"No, ha you wore it better than me."

"You look really good."

"Thank you. You look really different yourself.."

"You want to dance?"

"Yeah come on."

He pulled my hand to the dance floor and I grabbed my waist tight. I tensed up and looked at him confused.

"You've been practicing?"

"I learned a little something."

We danced and it felt like forever. I got lost in his eyes and I didn't want to stop. Once the song was ending I smiled.

"Wanna ditch this and go get some pizza?"

"Yes I do." I said

We left and walked a few blocks down to a pizza joint.

"How come you didn't leave yet?"

"I'm leaving still.. just wanted to spend one last night with you."

"Awe Christopher you're such a sweethearrttt!"

"Yeah yeah shut up"

He smiled and I noticed his freckles.

"You have cute freckles."

"I think that's why the girls was all over me tonight" he laughed

I kinda got mad. No one is ever all over him. Only reason he looks so good is cause of me!

"At least you had the ladies. I Just got harassed by Johnny."

"I'm sorry I didn't come sooner."

I ordered me a pizza.

"eh it's fine. Glad you had fun"

"I did."

We sat down and his whole vibe was different.

"you're changing. I feel it"

"Changing? No, I'm not. I just.. trying to fit in and adapt."

"Sometimes it's okay to be different."

"If that was the case you wouldn't have made me your boyfriend to get back at Johnny."

"I didn't use you to get anyone jealous okay"

"So if you didn't use me then.. you-"

"Can we just eat pizza? Gosh i'm starving."

"...I kissed this girl at the dance."

I choked on my pepperoni.

"who?"

"Jolina. She gave me her number."

"Who the heck is that? and you guys together? just like that?"

"I mean I think she's cute and I kissed her so.. i must have felt something right?"

"I think you are moving extremely too fast."

"How would you know when's the last time you had a boyfriend?"

"I had.. one before. you? couldn't get anyone with the suspenders and shoes you was wearing."

"I got Jolina."

"because she didn't notice the real you. The nerdy you."

"I don't think we're moving too fast."

"Yeah cause you the one who made the move."

"It shouldn't matter, we're not real boyfriend and girlfriend.. right?"

"I guess."

"are we?"

"No we're not."

"Soo then.. yeah"

"you didn't have to tell me all that though."

"I mean you're my bestfriend."

"Bestfriend?"

Did he just make me his bestfriend??

"Yeah my only friend that's.. always at my house and always there."

"Oh.. well. Cool"

After the awkward pause he took out his phone and started texting.

Chris POV

I started texting Jolina. My life is coming together perfectly fine. All thanks to Tamera. I'm so glad I met her.

I looked up and seen money on the table and Tammy walking away.

I ran outside after her and grabbed her arm.

"what's wrong?"

"Nothing, just ready to go home."

"You wasn't feeling like that a while ago. So what happened between then and now"

"Your new girlfriend"

"Seriously? Why are you mad?"

"When do you leave??"

"... i'll go right now there's a relative house i can stay at in LA"

"Oh."

"I stayed to spend a night with you."

"You seem distracted. We had pizza. You can go now."

"Why you being like that!"

She kept walking and from then.. honestly forget her. i'm leaving TONIGHT!
