Chapter 8: Shin-Ah

"The mask..."

"Seiryuu-sama's mask has..."

"Ah... ah..."

"What's wrong?!" Yoon asks.

"If... if you look into his eyes, you'll turn into stone!"

"Stone?!" Yona thought.

"He... he came to kill us."

"Seiryuu rescued me. He has no reason to kill people!" Yona shouts and Seiryuu closes his eyes catching Yona's, Mana's, and Yoon's attentions.

"He closed his eyes... Is it to let them know he's not being hostile?" Yona thought as Seiryuu picks up his mask and wears it.

"What did you come for, Seiryuu?" Kija questions. "You have no intentions of leaving with us, am I right?"

Seiryuu didn't answer as he picks up the axe and walks towards Kija before swinging down just as Yona and Yoon gasp in fear. However, Seiryuu didn't swing at Kija but the wall behind him and begins to dig on it.

"...ARGH! You! If you came to help us escape, shouldn't you have said so?! It would be tragic if the dragon warriors had to fight against one another! But the way, where are you digging? The entrance is that way." Kija points out.

"This spot... is connected to the outside." Seiryuu says. "It's quicker to break this down..."

"Why did you not say that sooner?! Hime-sama, we will dig through this quickly, so please wait."

"I'm digging too." Yona says and grabs one of the villagers' dagger. "Let me borrow this."

"Eh! Um..."

"You must not. Helping hime-sama is our duty as dragons..."

"Let me do it... Let me do it too! Let's hurry and get out of here!" Yona shouts.

"...Yes!"

"Dig if you guys value your lives too." Yoon says as he holds a dagger that he stole.

"I'm digging too." Mana says as she draws out her kodachi and they start to dig. As they continue to dig, Yona begins to feel light-headed and about to collapse, but Seiryuu catches her.

"Sei... ryuu..." Yona manage to say.

"Seiryuu! Take hime-sama to your room! It should be more easy to breath in there!" Kija says as he wheezes out.

"Don't worry, Yona. You just rest." Mana tells her.

"I'm fine." Yona assures them, but Seiryuu lifts her up and takes her to his room. "I said I'm fine."

"Yosh!" Mana mutters and continues to dig in exhaustion. Soon later, Yona comes back.

"Yona has arrived!" She announces.

"Hime-sama! Please go and rest!" Kija pleads.

"You're too noisy! It's too hard to breathe!" Yoon says.

"Yoon, trade places with me!" Yona asks and she begins to dig again with Seiryuu and the villagers.

"We're still... not outside..." Yoon trails off.

Just then, the wall begins to shake before rocks spreads out as one of the rocks hits square on Kija's face.

"Hime-san!" Hak calls out since he's the one who dig on the other side of the wall.

"Hak!" Yona calls and he immediately hugs her. Then everyone in the cave exits out to the outside. "Hak, you knew about that spot well."

"I got the information from the villagers. They split their secrets that around Seiryuu's room. There's a group of family members who live there."
