Prologue
They say that the world is cruel.
They have no idea.
The moment I set eyes on him I knew he was ten shades of trouble.
He said that the day I smirked at him was the day he swore to be mine... Wait that came out wrong. He said, "The day you gave me the cold shoulder was the day I swore to have you. To be mine and mine alone." Yeah, that sounds like him. And can I just say that when he said swore it meant an unbreakable oath.
A friend told me that Warlocks are bound to their oaths and a broken oath is tantamount to an indescribable punishment (Trust me, I freaked out too about the Warlock stuff).
I didn't really care because I’m not going to be the one punished. I would have turned him down there and then...again...if he didn't say the word that raised goose bumps up my spine.
He said, "And if I can't have you, no one else can."
Those were the words that sealed my fate and bound me to him. The world is cruel, but it still gave me him. And though it raised goose bumps, all pains and sacrifices are worth it as long as he's with me.
