"Yes, I'm afraid that you may be wheelchair bound after this." The Doctor Replies.
"WHAT no please tell me this is a cruel joke" Ross says.
"I'm sorry." He says.

Chapter 5

Meanwhile...
"Please you can't make us go to court. Our Dad is dead and our Mom is dying. We have no money for a Lawyer."Riker says with his arm around Rocky.
"But the law states you must go to court. Although not intentional you committed manslaughter and you may find yourself in prison after this." The Police Officer answers. Rocky goes silent and tears fall from his pale face.
"Nno please. I'd rather be dead then not be able to be with my family please we've lost all our money on our moms cancer treatments we just had to pay bills today and we don't even know what's happened to our little brother. He would've killed us if I didn't kill him."Rocky starts crying into Riker's shoulder.
"Look Do feel really sad for you and your family and you have my full sympathy but law states as I said. You and your siblings might have to just go to Foster homes so you can have some money. To pay for this" The police officer says, rubbing Rocky's back as he cries.
Its all silent until they hear Ross scream and cry their names down the corridor. They run into the room Ross is in and find him sweating and screaming on the bed.
"What's wrong with him" Riker shouts at the doctor.
"I think He's shattered both the bones in his leg; I'm afraid he may need to be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life."The doctor replies stunned by Riker's time of voice.
"No Ross." Rocky's says.
"W-what's going to happen to us." Ross stutters.
"Ross stay calm but I-I'm going to prison."
Rocky's says placing a hand on Ross' shoulder.
"ROCKY PLEASE NO! Please it wasn't his fault he never meant to kill our dad he was just protecting us."
Ross shouts at the Police officer begging him for his brother to stay.
"Ssshhhhhh Ross it's okay. I know I didn't mean to do it but I did. I killed our Dad"
Rocky bursts into loud tears and Riker walks over to hug Rocky and he crawls into his brothers arms.
"Rocky it's okay, we know you didn't mean it." Riker says is a soothing voice.
"B-But I still killed him and now he's dead and it's all my fault!"
Rocky whispers. He sobs into his brothers chest and Riker holds him tightly and rubs his back.
"Rrrrocky ccmone hhere. Bro."
Ross whispers. Rocky moves towards Ross who's arms are open wide. They hug for a while both crying. Then Riker joins they stay like that in silence. Until Rydel and Ryland come into the room.
They see they're dad dead on the floor. Rydel holds Ryland in her arms as yet another Lynch has broken. what happened.
"Dddddad ttried to attack mme he was literally about to kill me. But then Rrocky saved me. He's my he hero."Ross stutters bursting out in tears again.
" wwwhat's gonna hhappen now. Mmommy I only has 6 days."Rydel explains to the group.
"Have you guys sseen hher yet" Ryland says trying to hold back tears.
"No Ry ii haven't."Riker says.
"nneithAHHHHHHH."
Ross says but suddenly screams in pain.
"What's Going on." Rydel and Ryland say in sync.
"His leg is shattered and he'll probably be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life."Riker says hanging his head down.
"No... Mom, Dad, Rossy...! Is there any other bad news." Rydel says.
"I-I'm going to prison."Rocky adds in. Wiping tears away from his face.
"Rrocky no." Ryland says.
"Yes I have to. I-I killed Dad."
Rocky says not looking at his siblings.
"No. I'm not letting anyone leave or go anywhere. We're siblings and we're sticking together. We'll get through this." Riker says his voice full Of hope.
"it's true we're family and we stick together. Always." Rydel says.
Suddenly a random nurse runs into The room.
"are you with Stormie Lynch in room 3T next door." She says hurriedly.
"Yes" they all slowly say.
"We have gotten results back from a test we did earlier today and I'm so sorry but your mom has 4 days to live. I hate putting a date on life. You may go see her." She says in sorrow.
"No mommy" Rydel whispers.
"Let's go see her guys"Riker says grabbing Rydel's hand.
Ross leans his head against the wall
"yyyou gguys go ssee mmom."
"are you sure Ross." Rydel says
"Yeah".
The rest of the siblings leave the room. And Ross cries to himself.
"Mommy...."
"I'm so sorry. Why does this happen. To such wonderful people" The police officer says.
"ii don't know." Ross replies.
