Next day

The lynch family wake up early in the morning to the screaming of their younger brother.
"Ross, Ross wake up please." Riker says trying to wake Ross.
"AHHHHHHHHH." He screams.
With a jolt the blonde boy wakes panting, sweating and screaming.
"Shhhhh please. I'm begging you please be quiet. The pain will go away soon. Please." Riker says in a soothing, calm voice.
"NO IT WONT ARGHGG. PLEASE. HELP ME. IT HURTS." Ross screams and starts to shiver.
Rydel and Ryland come rushing into the room.
"Riker, just give him some pain relievers, the doctor should've given you some." Rydel says.
"RYDEL HES ALLERGIC SERIOUSLY. YOU SHOULD KNOW"
Riker yells at Rydel. She backs away and cries against the door. Rocky hops out of bed and walks over to her and rubs her back. Riker gets out of bed and Ryland sits next to Ross.
"iim so sorry. I just don't understand things. How am I suppose to look after you guys. If I can't even look after Ross." Riker explains.
"ii understand. It's ok we're all confused." Rydel whispers.
"it's been a shock for all of us." To my adds.
"we're all here to help you."
"yyeAHHHHHHHH" Ross screams.
Ryland lifts his older brother so he's sitting up.
"ccccan wwe ggo ssee mom pplease." Ross stutters.
"Ross it's 5:00 in the morning." Rocky groans getting back in bed, he's not a morning person.
"In two hours ok." Ryland says.
"No, I want to see her. Please. Can we sneak in."
Ross whispers letting large tears fall down his face. They all shake their heads. Ross brings the bed sheets over his face so his siblings can't see him. He cries and cries. And screams.
"I WISH IT WAS ME NOT MOM....."
Riker sighs and lies back down next to his brother and holds him again.
"Sssshhhh Rossy it's okay"
"NO IT'S NOT OKAY MY MOM IS GOING TO BE DEAD IN 3 DAYS AND MY DAD IS ALREADY DEAD AND I'LL PROBABLY NEVER BE ABLE TO WALK AGAIN!"
He yelps and collapses into tears and Riker rubs his back, making comforting noises in his ear.
"Please Ross you'll be okay. I promise." Riker says.
He kisses Ross softly on the cheek and Ross cuddles into his chest.
"I love you Riker, I wouldn't want anyone else taking care of me. You've always been like a Dad to me and you care about me so much, more than I deserve."Ross whispers.
A tear runs down Riker's cheek and lands on Ross' hair.
"Yyou don't know hhow much tthat means tto mme Ross. I love you so much." Riker says tearing up.
Ryland leaves the room and Rydel tucks Rocky into bed, then leaves. Riker kisses Ross' head slowly. And rubs his back. Until they both fall asleep cuddling. Ross letting out little screams every 4 minutes or so.
