Good Life Gone Bad (An R5 Fanfic)

Chapter 29

Chapter 29-

The band finish explaining their story, occasionally people wold shout how much they love the band. A man comes out from side stage and tells R5 their time is up to perform.

R5 walk off stage and back into the green room.

“That was it that was the end of R5” Rocky said flatly.

The siblings and Ratliff pile onto a couch and Ross sit’s uncomfortably in his wheel chair.

“Do you guys need anything” Curt says walking up to the bunch.

The siblings shake their heads at Curt. He sits on the couch behind Ross’ wheelchair and lifts him up onto his lap the younger boy press his head into Curt’s collarbone and lets silent tears out. It fel to them as if they were like this for only seconds but it had been quite a lot of minutes. The stage director calls all bands onto stage to announce the winner, Curt joins them.

“In Third Place, The Vamps” 

“In second place 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER” 

“And the winner of the 2013 Battle of the bands are……”

R5 don't hold their breathes or cross their fingers for luck, they barely performed and what they did perform in their prospective was a childish song that they wrote many years ago.

*Ross’s POV*

I couldn't hear or see, my eyes have gone blurry from tears and all i could hear was the pounding of my heart against my chest. I hold onto Riker’s hand tightly.

The host of the show talks, i wipe my eyes but i still cant hear.

The crowd starts to cheer and my siblings hand’s raise up to their mouths. Rydel starts sobbing and Ryland runs up to us from the side and hugs us.

My hearing comes back and i hear the audience chanting our names.

“Ross we won” Riker says, suddenly he picks me up and spins me around,

“WHAT” i yell.

The youngest in the band smiles and can't help but let tears of joy escape from his eyes. 

Rocky takes the award and holds it up over his head in triumph. The eldest in the group starts a acceptance speech and the crowd falls silent.

“We’d like to thank everyone who has ever supported us on our journey.Even though they aren't here anymore, our Mom and Dad had been the most important people in all of our lives and we’d like to dedicate this award to them.Personally id also like to thank Curt, who's always there for us without him these guys would probably be in a foster home.” Riker points to his siblings and hugs Curt.

Ryland walks up to the mic and finishes it off.

“And last but not least we all have to thanks the R5 Family without you guys there wouldn't be an R5, all of us will remember you even though the band isn't going on anymoreTHANK YOU!” Ryland finishes the speech and the band all exit the stage.

 As soon as the group are outside they share hugs and tears with each other. 

“I love you guys” Rydel whispers.

She kisses her brothers cheeks and Ratliff’s (A/N I ship Rydellington but that wasn't suppost to be a moment like that).

They celebrate for a while then They pile into a limousine.

Rydel sits next to Rocky, who's sitting next to Ryland, Who’s sitting next to Ratliff, Who's sitting next to Curt, who is sitting next to Riker who has Ross on his lap.

The group talk about their award and how supportive the fans were.

It quiet, Rydel had fallen asleep on with her head on Rocky’s lap.

“Hey Ross” Rocky says starting to ask him a question.

“I think he's asleep too Rock” Curt says

“What time is it?” Riker asks leaning his head on Curt’s shoulder.

“Ummmmmm 7:30pm” Ratliff says looking at his fluro green watch he yawns.

“I just wanna jump on my bed and fall asleep.” he groans tiredly.

As if on cue the car pulls up at Ellingtons house.

 They say their goodbyes and goodnights, Ellington walks to his front door and is welcomed by his mother. The car makes its way to the Lynch house.
