Chapter 14.

"Ross why are you bleeding...."

"WHAT!" The Lynches yell.
"Hhe's bbleeding. His hhead" Stormie says scared.
Riker runs forward and looks at the top of his head. There is a huge crack in his head which is pouring blood and staining his hair pink.
"Rross..."
Rocky grabs a couple of towels from a cabinet in the room and puts them on Ross' head to soak up the blood.
"Ross I think you need to see a Doctor." Rydel exclaims.
"Nno I-I waant to sttay hheree."
"No"Stormie says.
"Ross your gonna loose to much blood if you stay here" Stormie says.
Stormie hugs and kisses all her children and plasters on a fake smile but they can all see that she's struggling.Rocky lifts his brother up into his wheelchair. Ross is slowly closing his eyes.
"C'mon Ross stay with us please baby bro" Rocky pleads.
"We'll be back soon Mommy we love you." Rydel chirps in.
They walk out of the room and Rydel, Rocky and Ryland rush off to emergency with Ross but Riker stays sitting outside his Mom's room. There, bye himself he collapses against a wall and cries and sobs until he can't shed another tear.
"How the heck am I going to do this? I can't do this! They're all depending on me! I love them so much but I can't do it!" Riker whispers to himself as tears stream down his face.
He sits there, hunched up and crying his eyes out until Rydel comes back.
She takes one look at Riker and runs over to him.
"Riker what's wrong!"she whispers.
She puts her arms around him and rubs his back.
"I-I can't do iit Dells I ccan't look after you guys."he says.
"Why would you think that Riker you're amazing with us. Dad was never there for us so we all always thought of you as our other Dad growing up and anyway, you don't need to look after us that much or provide for us in a couple of years we'll be just like we are now." Rydel says choking on multiple words.
"No Delly we won't. I'm just so scared I'll let everyone down or that Ross won't heal properly or Rocky will go to jail and it'll be all my fault. Aall mmy ffaultt."
He breaks down in tears again and Rydel holds him tightly.
"it's not your fault Rocky iis going to jail. Or that Rossy is not ggonna bbe able to walk a again." She answers.
Suddenly they both burst out in tears and cry on each others shoulders. They just stay there for a while. Until Ryland comes running up to them.
He's crying and his face is red.
"Gggguys" he stutters.
"Ry what's wrong" Rydel says getting up bringing Riker up with her.
"it's its Ross and iits not good" Ryland says.
