Marinette woke up with the sun shining brightly on her face, she covered her eyes and stretched and arms. She looked down and noticed she was tucked under the sheets, "Adrien" she thought to herself. Speaking of Adrien, as Marinette looked to her side, she saw the sunny haired boy peacefully asleep. She looked at him and smiled, blush forming on her cheeks. After a few moments, she decided to wake him. "Good morning sleepy-kitty!" She said jokingly. Adrien slowly opened his eyes, smile immediately forming as he saw the girl in front of him. "Good morning, Mari." Adrien yawned. "So you wanna maybe get breakfast?" Marinette asked as she slid out of the bed. "Sure let me just-" he said, dozing off before finishing the sentence. Marinette giggled, "Five more minutes, huh?" She grabbed her bag and headed towards the bathroom, figuring she would wake him up after getting dressed.

Now ready, Marinette stepped out of the bathroom half-expecting Adrien to be awake. "Alright cat-boy.." She said smiling as she eyed the boy, still asleep on the bed. She took a running start and- "Adrien get up!" she yelled as she pounced on the bed. Adrien immediately jumped up, causing Marinette to giggle. "Alright, I'll get ready." He replied giggling. Within a few minutes, Adrien was dressed and ready to go. As the two headed out, they were stopped by the bodyguard/limo driver. "Right this way to the limo." "Oh,  uh actually- we'll walk!" Adrien replied, grabbing Marinette's wrist and walking out to avoid further conversation. Blush formed across her cheeks. "Sorry about that" Adrien laughed awkwardly. She laughed I'm reply, "it's alright actually" she said as she eyed his hand still wrapped around her wrist. Adrien noticed this too and gently loosened his grip, "heh, sorry about that too." He added as he blushed. "It's okay, I didn't mind!" Marinette said, still blushing. Adrien got quiet. "Do- do I like Marinette..?" He thought to himself. Marinette noticed his facial expression. "Are you alright, Adrien?" She asked concerned. "Uh- yes, just hungry!" He replied. Marinette giggled. "Oh, well we're almost there."

The two arrived at the small diner and sat down, awaiting their orders to be taken. Marinette tried to think of conversation. "So uh- how was the movie?" she asked. "I actually fell asleep shortly after you did." Adrien replied, laughing. "Oh well, that's what we get for staying up so late playing games." He added. The waiter arrived at the table, "Do you two know what you'd like for drinks?" Marinette nodded across the table at Adrien. "I'll have orange juice" Adrien replied, "uh-I'll have a tea!" "Gottcha!" The waiter said as she walked away. The two talked for a while and enjoyed their meals.
"Marinette-" Adrien said in between laughing "-we need to hang out more often."
Marinette blushed, she was flattered her crush enjoyed her company so much. "I totally agree! If you ever wanna talk, feel free to drop by!" "Maybe Chat will visit you later?" He teased. Marinette giggled. It wasn't too long ago that Adrien told her what is probably his biggest secret- being Chat Noir. He knew he could trust her, plus he already told her almost everything. Although he didn't know about Ladybug's identity, Marinette planned to one day tell him- when she's ready of course. After finishing their meals, both friends headed back home. Marinette dropped by Adrien's house once again to get her stuff and afterwards left, but not before saying their goodbyes "See ya later, cat boy" she giggled. "Bye Mari, and don't get scared if you hear a knock on your window later." He replied. Marinette was confused at first, but she would soon find out what he meant.
