It's been days since Adrien and Marinette announced their relationship- and things were finally calming down. Pretty much everyone knew they were a thing, and only a few people (Alya and Nino) constantly asked them how it was going.

The whole school was practically freaking out- it's testing week.

There were only two good things about that: one, glorious summer break, and two, Marinette could have study-dates with Adrien.
It sounded insignificant or small to some, but Marinette always dreamed of having someone she could have fun-little-dates with.

"So- what exactly are we studying?" Adrien asked while tapping a pencil to his head.
"Well we should probably start with math since that's the first test- and also probably the one I'm gonna fail."
Adrien chuckled, "Is it bad that that I have almost no desire to study?" He laid his head down on her desk.
She giggled back, "Is it bad that I feel the exact same way?"
He moved his head from her desk to her lap as he swiveled around in his chair.
He looked up at the ceiling as he spoke, "I just wish we could fast-forward to summer break."
She leaned her neck back, "Yeah, me too. We have to go somewhere together!"
"Of course" he smiled, "Do you think your yo-yo could take us somewhere cool?"
She smirked, "What's up with you and using miraculous's to get around quicker?"
"We have practically unlimited power! All I'm saying is, why walk when you can fly?" He joked.
She laughed, "Shut up- we are not doing that."
"-and anyway," she added, "Alya has her license and would be more than happy to bring us all on a trip!" she winked.
Adrien groaned, "This conversation makes me wanna study even less."
Marinette giggled, running her fingers through his course hair.
"Cmon kitty- we're almost done with this school year! Then we'll finally have the break we deserve."
He tossed around in her lap, his eyes growing heavy. "If by 'almost' you mean like- 8 years."
"'8 years'?" She repeated, "is that how long 3 weeks is for cats?" She teased.
"Might as well be." He smiled as he began closing his eyes.
"Are you falling asleep on my lap? You really are a cat." She stroked his cheek soothingly.
He purred, wrapping his arms around her waist.
She blushed in response, "Come on- w-were supposed to be studying."
He peaked one eye open, a smirk on his face, "Study break."
"W-we've barely even started!"
He pretended to snore, causing her to laugh, "Okay, okay! We can take a break. A short one. But then we have to study, got it kitty?"
"Absolutely, I just need a cat-nap after a busy school week."
"Even when you're half-asleep you're still making puns."
He did finger guns, "You know it, Princess."
"Why don't we move to my bed? My legs are already starting to fall asleep." She suggested.
Adrien fake-gasped, "Why- Marinette- are you trying to get me in bed with you?" He joked.
"You are so stupid," she laughed, "but I mean, if you wanna study instead-" she teased.
"Fine, fine- I'll stop!" He chuckled, "Now, let's get comfy."
"What does that mean?"
Before she could say anything else, Adrien was to his feet and carrying her to her bed. He plopped her down before jumping right beside her, cuddling her closely.
Marinette was enveloped in his arms and legs, his head resting in the crook of her neck.
She giggled, running her fingers over his neck and through his hair.
"You're so ridiculous." She said gently as she smiled. "Mhm," he spoke, his eyes still closed, "but you love me, so."
"I know."

The rest of the study dates went pretty much the same way, except Marinette always eventually got Adrien to work with her. By the end, the two had enough to make at least a passing score on the tests- which was definitely fine with them.

About two weeks later, testing was finished and students now aimlessly went about there school days- which were mainly just filled with watching movies and skipping classes to see your friends. All except for Adrien...who had testing on the last day.
While he was mentally cursing his dad for making him take extracurricular classes, Marinette was talking to Alya.

"So, how are you guys?" She smirked. Marinette rolled her eyes, still unable to talk about her boyfriend without blushing.
"You ask me everyday- we're good." She laughed.
"Just checking- cause you know the moment he steps out of line I'm gonna-" Marinette interrupted before she could progress, "You don't have to worry!" She chuckled. "I tell you everything, you know that."
"Yeah, everything but how you guys got together."
Marinette leaped in her seat, "I-I told you! We were talking and-"
"I know, I know- but I wanna hear the full story, girl!" Alya sat in her seat excitedly.
Alya only wanted to hear the entirety of how her and Nino's plan worked out- she had no idea about her best friend's identity- not to mention her boyfriend's. Regardless, there was always a bit of the story she had to leave out- and that part was obvious. She'd just have to give Alya a more in detail version of what happened. "It's not a lie- it's just...lacking a lot of what actually happened!" Marinette thought to herself. Lying to her friends and family wasn't something she exactly liked doing, but it was certainly something she had to do.
"I guess it all really started that Friday you couldn't hang out with me- our first date" she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear bashfully, giggling as she told her story, "he asked me to dinner and then we hung out at his place pretty much all weekend."
Alya was grinning ear-to-ear at each word, anxiously holding back telling her about the plan, figuring it'd be best to save for a time Nino was there to explain with her.
"...And I don't know- somewhere into it we both told each other how we felt- and now we're here I guess." She chuckled.
"Marinette I know I tell you this all the time but I'm so happy you finally got with him!" Alya bit her lip, shaking her friend's shoulders joyfully.
Marinette laughed, "Geez Alya. Let's not just talk about me- how about that group vacation later this month?" She smirked.
Alya practically squealed- "I'm so excited Mari you have no idea!"
"Oh I know- we've been talking about it for weeks!"
"It may take us a few extra bakery and babysitting shifts- but we're doing it!"
"Oh yeah" Marinette cheered, my parents already gave me the 'okay', how about you and Nino?"
"All good over here, has Adrien said anything?"
"Uhh he told me that he's gonna go even if we have to kidnap him."
"Wow." Alya laughed, "you've got yourself one dedicated man, Mari."
"Apparently." She giggled.
