Chapter Ten: Moving to the beach

Two days later

Mercy's POV

"Thanks for everything" I hugged my parents as we watched the moving truck leave the driveway.
Jan was asleep in the car and Caddy was running around hugging everyone for the twelfth time.
"Come on Caddy! Sable are you ready yet?" I asked as I saw her run past.
"I've lost my Phone... again."
"I'll call it while you look" I put my phone to my ear.
After a few minutes the phone was answered.
"Hello this is Albi."
"Hey you found the phone" I smiled.
"Albi has your phone."
"Jesus Christ stop doing that!" Albi yelled as Sable disappeared from beside me, probably reappearing in front of him.
"Thanks Mercy" Sable said through the phone.
"Your welcome" I smiled, hanging up.
"So where was it?"
"Umm... she didn't say" I lied.
I quickly grabbed Caddy as she ran past before putting her in her car seat which was placed behind the driver's seat.
"Come on Sable, we don't have all day" I called.
"Coming! Let's go pick up Bray, I can sit between the kids" Sable offered.
"That's cute, thinking you had a choice" I smiled as she hugged Mum and dad.
"We'll see you later Connor" I smiled as he started eating a sandwich.
He was still in his pjs. With him in charge of taking Gabe... the both of them probably wouldn't get there for another couple of days if he kept going the way he was.

"Are you ready for the trip?" Bray asked as I drove into her driveway.
"Hi Mercy, hi Caddy, hi Jan, hi Sable! Bye Mercy, bye Caddy, bye Jan, bye Sable!" Kayleigh waved as Mr and Mrs Marshall hugged Bray goodbye.
"I'll missed you guys" Bray told them.
"We're sorry that Ashleigh couldn't be bothered to come down and say goodbye."
"That's okay, we hate each other anyways" Bray smiled and walked to the car.
"Wow... okay."

"How are you?" I smiled sadly.
"All good" she smiled back and kissed me.
"No PDA in the car please!" Caddy screamed.
"Now this is my niece" Sable smiled and we all laughed.
"Goodbye Dalby, we might miss you!" We yelled as I got up to the highway's speed.

Just as we got off the great range, Caddy started to groan.
"What's wrong baby?" I asked, looking through the rearview mirror.
"I feel..." she vomited all over herself and Sable. "Sick" she finished before vomiting everywhere again.
Sable grabbed a plastic container and held it under Caddy's chin. I pulled over when it was safe to do so before getting out and going to the back of the car to get Caddy and Sable a clean outfit each. I got Caddy out of her seat just as she started feeling sick again.
"Onto the grass baby" I told as her hands went to her mouth.
I helped Sable out of the car right before I turned around to see Bray kneeling down on the grass. She started vomiting beside Caddy.
"Fuck!"
"Help her I'm fine" Sable told me and I went behind Bray and held her hair.
I heard a car pull up.
"Are you guys okay?" Albi's voice came from the near the car.
"Albi?" Sable hit her head as she cleaned Caddy's car seat.
"Hey babycakes, what's happening?" He walked around and saw the commotion.
"Caddy got sick in the car and now Bray is being sick also and I smell" she told him with a sigh.
"Was Mercy driving?" He joked.
"Not now Albi" I growled.
The wind picked up in pace and grey clouds covered the sun.
"No, come on. Sable are you finished with her car seat?" I asked.
"Yeah, Caddy let's get you dressed" she said as Caddy took deep breaths.
"I'll help her, you can get dressed in my car" Albi offered.
She grabbed her clothes and walked to the back seat of his car.

Once Caddy got into the car we gave her some medicine to stop the sick feeling. She immediately passed out after that. Bray even took some and fell asleep also. Jan had slept the whole way so far and I hoped it stayed that way. I grabbed a plastic bag and put the clothes into it before chucking it in the back and turning to Sable.
"Are you coming with me or are you going to go with Albs?" I asked her playfully. 
"I'll go with a Albi if that's okay?" She asked, looking at Albi.
"Sure" I smiled, "I'll see guys later" I wiggled my eyebrows and hopped into the car to drive for the next 2 or so hours.
