Chapter Six: birthday Partay

Mercy's POV

We all got into the cars and drove into town to the restaurant. The others were going to meet us there. Sable and I went in Jem's car with Connor. The twins went with Jason since Jay and his girlfriend Pippa were apparently babysitting tonight. We gathered outside the restaurant and waited for the others.
"We have a fold up cot at home set up in our bedroom so you don't have to worry about the twins tonight" Pippa told me.
"Um okay, not actually sure why you guys are doing this but thanks anyway" I smiled at them.
"Do you know what's happening here?" I asked Sable through our amazing ability.
"Um, no I don't, but let's play along and go with the flow" She replied. I pushed the double pram into the restaurant when the gang arrived.
"Let's party like there's no tomorrow" Breezy stated.
"Shut up Bree" Albi growled, (literally).
"Calm down peeps" Gabe settled them.

"Okay, present time take two" Connor snapped his hands together as if he was directing a movie. Dad had gone outside and come back with the baskets from earlier. Sable grabbed my left hand and Bray had my right.
"Okay, Livvy's presents were done this morning, now it's Hugo's turn" Dad said and Hugh stood up, walked over to the baskets and getting two presents and handed them to us. I opened mine carefully and it reveal a blue, waterproof, bluetooth speaker.
"Oh my gosh, Hghu thank you" How did he afford this?
"You're welcome Mercy" he blushed a bit.
"Oh my... it's awesome" Sable squealed and I jumped a bit. She pulled out a Red, waterproof, bluetooth speaker.
"I can finally listen to music in the shower!" We exclaimed in unison. We giggled at the occurrence.
"That means you guys will have longer showers" The boys groaned.
"Next presents are from Connor" Dad announced.
"Hehe" Connor got up and grabbed the presents and passed them to us.  I opened my present to find a Vidal Sassoon Curl Secret
"Thank you Con-con this is awesome" It was my turn to squeal. Sable opened her and started squealing with me. She had a Vidal Sassoon Bundle which included a dryer and straightener.
"Girls calm down" Dad tried to refrain from yelling. "We are in a restaurant for cry out loud."
"Sorry dad" we sat down with identical smiles from ear to ear.
"I'm glad you girls like your presents" Connor chuckled.
"Okay, moving on, Jem you're turn" Dad told him as he grabbed two medium sized wrapped boxes that looked like iPhone boxes, it couldn't be.
"Here you go" he handed them to us. I ripped the paper off of them. iPhone 7s!?
"Are you pranking us right now?" I asked grabbing a knife and sliced the plastic before ripping it off. I slid the lid off to see a rose gold iPhone in there.
"WHAT THE...?"
"Mercy!" Dad stopped me just in time.
"Sorry! Thank you Jem, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" I jumped up and hugged him.
"Okay Mercy, I get it." he chuckled. "Please let go before you crush the transplant" he lightly pushed me away. Sable went in for a hug but was more civil about the situation. She had a Jet black iPhone 7 in her hand. Jem gave us a case each.
"Okay girls, back to your seat, Jayce's turn" Dad said. I sat down and put the iPhone back into it's case and put the box onto the pile. Jason got up and grabbed his presents from behind the bush beside him. He had two boxes, one was fairly large and the other one was an average size. He gave the large one to Sable and the other one to me. I opened the box not knowing what he got me.
"A Nikon Coolpix B500 Digital Camera!!" I screamed.
"An Electro-Acoustic guitar!" Sable screamed.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you," We screamed in unison.
"How can your mother and I compete with all those awesome presents?" Dad said sounding fake upset.
"I don't know maybe with a red... 2014... Toyota Highlander Hybrid" Mum answered holding up a set of keys for a car. (#THE DREAM). This blew us out of the water we SCREAMED in excitement.
"I'm sorry sir but the customers are complaining about the noise coming from this table. I am sorry but your family has to leave"  A waiter came over and talked to dad.
"I understand we will clean up the rubbish and get on our way" Dad told him. "Okay everyone has the pick up four pieces of rubbish and put it in the bin" dad ordered and the restaurant was cleaned in no time. Sable and I went to go with mum and dad when Jem and Connor held us back.
"Where are you going?" Connor asked grabbing my arm.
"The night's not over yet" Jem smiled grabbing Sable's arm.
"What doing you mean?" Sable asked half scared. Jem doesn't smile that bright very often and when he does he's always up to something.
"You'll see" Jayce chuckled as he walked past, pushing the pram.
