Chapter 3

Dismissal's finally here. Amen.

" So Diana, have you seen the news?" Stacy whispered but I gave her a confused look before she started speaking again. " Of course you haven't, here"

She handed me her phone that was playing a video.

" No way!" I shrieked in disbelief

" um, yes way" She nods her head,looking at me

" The day hasn't even ended and everyone already knows what happened in the cafeteria?!"My eyes grew wide at how fast the news travelled.

" Hate to break it to you sister but that's Luke we're talking about , not only any Luke but ' The Luke Hemmings'" She emphasizes his name like he's really important.

We were walking out the school when a figure stepped in front of me, blocking my way.

" What do you want now?" I exasperatedly spoke as I altered my weight to me right, hugging my books.

" It's a weekend tomorrow and I'm... I'm wondering if, you know, if you want to come to a ---, no. I mean if you want to hang out?" Luke stuttered

" and if I won't?"I'm adamant in this one.

I was waiting for his answer when he swerved around, writhing in his place. Seconds later, Taunt and his pack passed by us with words I never expected.

" Hey look! That's Mr. Lover boy. ' I'm the pig on the lose', ' I want to show you how much I love this girl' , ' look at me, I'm so manly' " Taunt ridiculed, passing by us as the smattering people nearby laughed along with him

I clenched my fists, about to run after him when Luke's hand stopped me.

" Let them be" Luke calmly remarked. This is so unlike him.

" What?! Just when did he start calling you that? Aren't you close friends?! Just when did you allow that?! What happened to Mr. Coolest of the cool?!" The questions went put of my mouth before I can process them. I am in need for answers right now,

" It happened right after the ' melodramatic scene'. Ever heard of ' fake friends'? What was your other question again? Oh yeah, umm I don't allow it but everyone hates me now so I have no choice. I just opted to accept the fact that my reputation is now crushed" Despite my hatred towards him, I feel sorry for this man whom dreams I have crushed.

I unwelcome feeling of guilt creeps in. Did that really just happen? Did those words really came out of his prideful mouth?

" What time?" I sighed

" what?" He shakes his head

" What time tomorrow?"

He smirked. You know, one of those devious smirks that wants to think you otherwise? Yeah, that smirk.

" My place. Six. I'll pick you up"

I arched an eyebrow, almost unsure if I should agree. His place? I'm not one of his bitches, sorry.

" Don't worry. I won't bite....much"

Wow Luke. Very comforting.

Let me tell you something. Diana Queensly ALWAYS holds the card

" ohhh, you know what? I think Stacy and I have something to do, right Stace?" I asked facing her

She is playing Candy Crush in her phone. Really Stace? At a time like this?

" what?" Her faced scrunched up as she met our expectant gazes

I gave her the look that says ' just go with the flow'

" right. Right. What she said" she went back playing in her phone again

" C'mon Diana! I was just joking. Promise I won't do anything against your will"

" Six. Your place. Got it!" I repeated

I pulled Stacy's hand and led her outside, catching a glimpse of Luke's prominent smirk from behind.

" Want me to give you a drive?" Stacy offered once we reached the parking lot

" Nah, I can just bike home."

" What is wrong with my car that you never ride it anyway?"

" No, nothing's wrong with it. I just love biking, form of exercise" I plastered a smile

" whatever. See ya!"

I waved her goodbye and went to the bike rack, unchaining it and started pedaling home.

Luke's p.o.v

She bought it. She Bought it! SHE ACTUALLY BOUGHT IT!

Yes it was just an act. You actually think I'll lose my reputation? No way in hell.

I know her that much that I know she'll feel guilty. God she's amazing.

P.S. the time I writhed was the time for Taunt to enter earlier. Smart right? Kinda like a cue for him

"Coast is clear!" I yelled

Everyone gave me a high-five and Taunt went back inside

"So bro, how'd I do?" he questioned

"Unbelievably amazing!"He offered his hand and we made our secret handshake

" And of course, your pack did well too"

They all smiled in reply

" So, do you have any idea what to do?' Taunt inquired

" What do you mean?"I furrowed my eyebrow in curiosity

"Well, for 'starters' you need to plan the activities you'll do on your date"He places his arm over my shoulders and walks me around the hall

This has never occurred to me. It's usually simple as ' My place, wear something sexy' and then I'll bring them to my room.

But Diana is different and now what? Should I cook for her? I don't know how to cook! What should I wear? Should I clean my room? Wait, Of course I should.

I never felt so vacuous until now.

" You don't have any idea how to entertain her do you?" Taunt asked like he was reading my mind

I shook my head, "how?"

"Nah, I don't know too. It's usually get naked or get out."

I smirked. My best friend and I really do think alike.

' Great minds think alike'

" Dude! Search it!" he opinionated

Search. Yeah. why not?

I won't make a fool of myself tomorrow. Hopefully..
