Chapter 3- Meeting Hazel

2 Years Later
"Mommy where did you go? Daddy mommy left!" Said a puzzled looking Miranda as she played hide and go seek with her parents and Mathew.
" Mira I'm over here princess. Over by your bed." Replied the Queen in a quiet tone.
"Mira you still have to find me." Said Matt from his hiding place under the bed. "Come find me princess." He said still trying not to give away his hiding spot.
"Sweetheart I think Matt might be under the bed, why don't you go look there." Said the king from out in the hallway as he wasn't playing the game.
"I found you! I found you Matt so come out!" Shouted the young princess with joy as young Matt crawled out from under the bed just in time to see the queen get tackled by the two year old princess.
  "I am going to get Hazel and then bring her here to meet you guys. I will be right back." Said price Matt as he ran out of the castle to get the 6 year old peasant girl from the small village.
  The queen picked up her daughter and started walking to the throne room with her husband not to far behind... it was time to meet Hazel. What they saw almost immediately after entering the throne room was young Prince Matt coming in holding a young girls hand. The young girl herself had short stick straight blonde hair and hazel colored eyes with a very pale face and was wearing a blue dress. She had a small smile on her natural pink lips as she bowed before the king and queen upon entering.
  "Hello dear you must be Hazel. I am Queen Alexis and this is my husband King James and our daughter, and Matt's fiancé, Princess Miranda." Said the queen after Hazel had finished bowing although she desperately hated to say it as Prince Matt was supposed to marry her daughter and not some poor peasant girl that he picked up in the village. She glanced over at her daughter in her throne with her little jewel embedded tiara and pink dress with her red hair braided up to make a perfect resting place for her tiara and noticed that's she had a sour face pointed right at Hazel. It was clear that her daughter disliked Hazel as much as she did.
  "Why is that peasant holding hands with the boy I'm going to marry mommy? Is she trying to take him away from me because I will not let her." Said her beautiful daughter before stomping out of the throne room and glaring at Hazel as she did so.
  "You have upset my daughter and you haven't even been here 10 minutes. I shall never see you face in the castle ever again or with prince Matt or you and your family shall be banished from the kingdoms forever." Yelled the queen quite angrily before running to go find her daughter, picking up her ruby red dress as she did so even though her crown fell off her head to the floor.
