Baby Princess

Chapter 2- Royal Ball

  "Welcome to the palace everyone. We are so glad you all could make it to celebrate the birth of our daughter Princess Miranda Elizabeth Cameron." Announced Queen Alexis after everyone had gather in the beautiful ballroom in the center of the castle. The ballroom had been decorated with gold and silver steamers hanging from the huge crystal chandelier in the center of the room. The queen herself was wearing a beautiful dark blue dress with the top covered in sapphires  and a long, shear silver train all of which complimented her long bright curly red hair and sapphire blue eyes. Her golden crown lay perfectly atop her head with only a bright pink lipstick and pink toned eyeshadow.
  King James wore a black suit with a sapphire blue tie to match the queens dress and his golden crown also sat perfectly upon his dark brown almost black hair and his shoes were shined to perfection and his light grey almost white eyes had a sparkle that was almost always there.
  In the queens arms sat Princess Miranda with her light red hair, that was quite long for her age, fell in small ringlets by her face and she had a natural pink tint to her cheeks and her bright teal blue eyes were bright and awake with the same sparkle to them as her fathers.
  "Now we have a very important announcement to make. As you all know my daughter was only just born a few days ago but in order to make our kingdom stronger my daughter is to be married on her 22 birthday to Prince Mathew Jonathan Kenney of Dulock and from then on our kingdoms will be united. Prince Mathew and King Harold please come forward." Announced the king as a young boy of only 4 years old with short light brown hair wearing a small dark blue suit and a man of the kings age but with black hair and a black suit step forward. The young child is Prince Mathew and he comes and looks at the princess and says "It's not Hazel. Hazel is the one I'm going to marry and that's final. I am not going to marry some baby who I don't even know." And then he ran out of the room and his mother ran after him.
  "We apologize for the disturbance but as it is now midnight the ball is over. Goodnight everyone." Anointed the Queen swiftly before leaving to put Princess Miranda to bed.
  "Who is Hazel?" King James asked King Harold once all of the guests had left.
  "A common girl that Mathew has convinced himself he is in love with but he will come around. They are only 4 and after all, Hazel is just some commoner and Princess Miranda is a beautiful princess."
