"Exactly how many stages are there that I need to go through?" I asked, while he was driving again.

"Six. Stage one was tasting, stage two was seeing, stage three is hearing, four is touching, five is smelling, and lastly, six is to pass to the test, which probably would be the hardest stage of all."

"So the further I go, the harder it becomes?"

"No, not really. I personally think stage three is the easiest to deal with."

"Then why didn't we do that first?" I asked, clearly annoyed.

"Munchkin, please, beggars can't be choosers."

I raised my eyebrows. "Are you calling me a beggar?"

Luke looked taken back. "No, of course not."

"Good."

We were silence for the rest of the ride, for we both knew there was tension in the air.

I was a little surprised when he stopped the car in front of my house.

"I thought we had three more stages to go."

Luke nodded. "We do."

"Then why are we here?"

"You'll figure it out soon," he replied with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Luke looked around my room. The walls of my room were covered with photos of me, modeling.

"You have a part-time job as a model?"

"You sound surprised." There was a small hint of disappointment in my voice, and I think Luke sensed that too, because he immediately started babbling away.

"No, no, I don't mean it that way. I mean, why would I be surprised? You're tall, slim, fit, gorgeous, hot, and extremely adorable when you mad. And your smile makes a guy like me, want to fall over and die."

When he finally noticed me smirking, he stopped rambling and started stuttering, "Um, um."

I took that as my cue to tease him. "Aw, lover boy is blushing," I cooed.

"Oh, shut up!" he protested, and took out his phone. "Munchkin, do you have a speaker?"

"Yes, why?"

"Stop asking questions and hand it over."

I found my Bluetooth speaker behind my laptop and passed it to him. He connected his phone to the speaker and turned on a bunch of songs about roses. Some of them were so cheesy that I had to cringe, but he was right, this stage was a lot easier than I expected it to be.
