Amanda's POV

"So.. boxing huh? Didn't take you for that type."

Ever since the day he found out that I signed up for boxing, he has been pestering me non-stop. Is it an offence to for me to learn?

"Yeah. You got a problem with it?"

"Nope, just confirming. Didn't take you to be the type that does sporty stuff."

Oh boy, its time for the 'I thought girls don't do such stuff ' talk.

"You know the usual is either girl spend more time on makeup and clothes or just studying their ass off. You are different."

"So what? Were you disappointed that I turn out like this?"

"The opposite. I find you interesting."

Am I interesting? That's a first.

Okay, the attention I'm getting is going out of hand. Whenever there's an opportunity, Shaun would always start a conversation with girls staring at me.

I bet they want me to disappear. Trust me, I would love to disappear from his sight.

Things got even worse. We had a major project coming up and it weighs forty percent of the subject grade. Students had to form pairs and work with each other for 5 months.

"Hey Amanda, want to partner up with me?"

I almost shit my pants.

"You want to pair up with me? I'm sure there are many people who want you."

"Nah, the other smarty pants are too weird for me to handle and the others look like slackers. Those girls right there? They are not going to do any work and just ogle at my handsome face. You seem to have a really high GPA and I have a GPA of 3.9 so why not? We can from the best pair. Besides, I think you have no friends in this class."

Wow, nice one Shaun. What a way to convince someone to pair up with you.

But he does make sense... Should I?

"Fine. I don't mind partnering with you but I can be demanding. You in?"

"Sure. Be as demanding as you like." He winked back.

Time seems to move slower than usual when we submit our names to the teacher. As if it's telling me something is going to happen.

Whatever, it's just a project. Don't' think too much Amanda. That's your weakness.

Finally, it was Lunch Break.

"Amy gosh I missed you so much!"

"Okay, stop the killer hug. I want to get my lunch!"

I quickly apologise and we scrambled to find a seat.

You know the usual, we found a spot and sat down, asking each other how was class and stuff. We have way too little classes together but there's one thing that I never told her about was the boxing. I know I can trust her but there are just things I don't see the need to share about.

TIME SKIP

Yes! Finally class has ended! It was already 5 pm and I only had an hour to have dinner and prepare myself for Band. Too bad Amy wasn't staying back with me. I guess I'll have to eat by myself.

I was about to have my first bite of dinner when

"Hey, Amanda!"

Omg please don't tell me that it's from....

"Hey it's Shaun, can't you just reply?"

"Oh hey..." I waved to him. He places his bag down and sat across me, placing his palm under his chin, looking at me with those intense eyes.

"You are staying back too? I have football practice."

I can see that.

Shaun changed into the school's official uniform. A navy blue muscle top with matching pants that emphasise his well-defined muscles.

"Can you stop staring? I know I look good."

"Nope, I'm just thinking that the school has already accepted you this early. They hardly let anyone enter the regular team within a few months."

Well, I can't deny that I was staring at his muscles. Not that he needs to know.

"HAHAHA damn you hurt my ego. As always, your answer is totally different from what I expected." He placed his hand on his chest.

Che being compared again. What's new?

"By the way, I have some good news for you! I got an A for the biology test!" He smiled

"OH MY GOD really! That's great, you did well!" I went forward and ruffled his hair.

Woah, it is so soft...

"Ahem."

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I've got a bad habit." I immediately took my hands away.

"No-no problem. You just shocked me. Anyway, I got to go now." He quickly took his bag and training gear.

"Bye Shaun. All the best for training." I waved back.

Well, that was awkward. I'm just glad that my teaching paid off!
