"Is he going to wake up anytime soon!?" Alisa sighed as she saw that everyone else had been awake for hours while Kirk is still asleep. "Just wake him up, it'll be dark again by the time he does." She said to Greg who quickly got up and walked over to Kirk. He leaned closely to his face and yelled, "Sleeping beauty! Wake up!" Kirk immediately opened his eyes and looked around frantically startled by the yelling but stopped and glared at Greg who was laughing. Liam and Alisa chuckled while Alex didn't say anything as he cleaned his gun.

"You have have some guts to tell at me." Kirk said in an aggressive tone and Greg glared at him and was about to say something til Alisa stopped him. "Ladies your both pretty, now we gotta go if you want to get any closer before night comes." She walked off but stopped and turned around, "Are you coming or not?" Kirk and Greg glared at each other before picking up their guns and following Alisa as Liam and Alex followed behind them.

              Somewhere Close By

The creature crouched on top of a tree as it scanned its surroundings. It looked around and made a few clicking sounds. But even if you looked at the tree it was in, you couldn't see it unless you stopped and really looked at it even though it wasn't invisible, it was still camouflaged with the leaves in the tree. It looked at its arm and a small device lit up with red symbols that was not known to Earth. It clicked a few symbols and it's body soon vanished but it was still in the tree. It made a few more clicking sounds as it jumped across the trees and finally landing on a ledge by a cliff. But as it looked around, it's vision was not the same as the humans for it wore a mask that made everything look blue. It looked around but stopped when it heard voices. It crouched down and looked over the ledge and in its mask's vision, it showed five figures lit up in orange and red. It stayed still as the figures continued to walk but when they started to get far away, it jumped into a tree following them.

           With Alisa and the Others

"The signal is getting stronger so we should be getting close." Liam said and the others nodded and stayed close to Liam while holding their guns close to them. But Alisa stayed in the back of the pack enjoying the scenary of the jungle ignoring the others as they spoke especially when Kirk complained here and there about either his feet are hurting or that Liam was taking to long to find where the signal was at.

"Umm guys." Liam said and we stopped and looked at him. "What?" "I may have read the signal wrong....." Kirk yelled, "What! What do you mean you read the signal wrong!?" Liam faked chuckled from nervousness, "I may have read that the signal was this way, but it is actually two miles away, that way." He pointed to his right side and we all groaned out of frustration. "Really Liam, I thought the general said you were the best navigator in the army!" "I am, it's just that I sometimes I kinda can't read this device correctly." Alisa and Greg groaned in frustration while Kirk ran over to him and tried to kill him but he was pulled away by Alex.

"Ok ok ok, it's only two miles, we can walk the one mile, stop for the night, and do the other mile tomorrow, so we should be there by tomorrow." Alisa said and the others nodded and she walked off to the direction Liam pointed at and the others followed  behind her. But as they walked, the creature followed.

"Umm guys, is it just me or does it feel like we are being watched?" Liam asked and Kirk groaned but Greg stopped him from trying to kill him again. "There are only birds and monkeys, it's not like there are monsters." Alisa said and Greg chuckled, "Yeah, or you are being stalked by a bird." He pointed behind Liam, "Ooh there she is!" But it was only followed by a bird flying away from his raised voice. Greg shrugged, "Guess she lost interest in you." He laughed and Liam glared at him. "Very funny, but I'm not kidding around, I feel like something is watching us." "It's just your imagination, now come on, you're tagging along and I do not want to wait for you to catch up." Alisa said and Liam sighed and walked faster to catch up with her and the others.

They walked for what seemed like hours til they came across a pond and decided to rest here for a bit before walking again. And when the Marines say rest for a bit, they mean either drinking water, cleaning or reloading your gun, or checking on your comrades for ten minutes. After ten minutes, Alisa broke the calm silence, "Okay break times over, let's get the rest of the mile done and do the other tomorrow." Of course Kirk groaned but she ignored it and they went on their way.

"Ok time to settle in and get some rest." Alisa exclaimed and the men sighed in relief and plopped down on the ground. But as they started to settle in, Alisa noticed that Liam seemed frustrated about something. She looked at the others and saw that the others kinda noticed it too, even Kirk who never cares or notices anyone. "Umm, Liam, you okay?" She asked and Liam answered not even looking up, "I'm fine." But she knew he was lying. "Look you can tell us anything." Liam sighed in annoyance and the others looked at each other trying to find something else to say to him.

"Look if you're still mad that you lead us in a different direction, it's ok, right guys?" Alisa said and looked at the others and they nodded. Liam glared at her, "I'm not mad about that, I'm mad that everybody thinks I'm a kid and that I can't do anything right!" He yelled and got up and stomped away into the jungle and Alisa looked at Greg and he shook his head to not go after him. She sighed and laid down followed by the others knowing to let Liam cool off.

                          With Liam

"They don't care or understand me. To them I'm a kid that can't do anything right." Liam said to himself as he trugged through the forest not caring that he was getting further away from the others. He sighed out of anger not if noticing that something was following him. That is til he heard a branch snap and he looked around. "Hello?" He didn't see anything, well that was because it was dark and everything was hard to make out. He sighed and continued walking til he heard another noise. But it was closer.

Liam stopped again and looked around. "Look guys, I'm sorry I got angry but leave me alone." He said into the forest but he didn't hear anything or anyone answer. But he only got another noise again, but it was louder. Liam looked around again and realized it wasn't the others. He put his hand where his gun would be but he realized he left it back with the others. So he took out a knife and pointed it at the trees. "I have a weapon and I'm not afraid to use it!" Liam looked in front of him not knowing something was slowly moving towards him from behind. He looked around in front of him frantically til he stopped and slowly turned around.

And when he turned around, he was met with nothing but glowing yellow eyes. He screamed and started to run away towards the others. And as he ran and yelled for the others, the yellow eyes disappeared disappeared as though it was never there in the first place.

Sorry it took longer than expected to make this part. These past days have been more frantic for me than usually. But I'll try to update it more quickly!
