Ex Friends and Evil Secrets

I woke up to see Chase still asleep so I carefully got up out of his arms and went downstairs into the kitchen. I started cooking breakfast (eggs, pancakes, bacon, and rolls) for the pack. After cooking for a few minutes , I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist from behind. I instantly lean back into the chest of Chase and smile. "I woke up and reached for you but you weren't there. I smelled food and followed it and it led to you . My beautiful woman cooking breakfast. " Chase said before kissing me on the cheek. I blushed , finished cooking the last pancake before turning off the stove eye. I turn in Chase's arms facing him and kiss him on the lips . "what was that for?" He asks. "Just because" I say and smile. He goes to kiss me but stops when the rest of the pack comes in the kitchen. "I'm sorry , were we interrupting something here?" Asks Athena . "No, breakfast is ready so make your plates and eat." I say while laughing a little. "Alright" they all say and begin fixing their plates and eating. They all leave the kitchen and go eat in the dining room leaving Chase and I in the kitchen alone. I make my plate and am about to leave the kitchen when Chase grabs my plate, sets it on the counter ,pulls me to him by my waist and kisses me. He then grabs our plates and leaves me  smiling and blushing in the kitchen. I go into the dining room and am going to sit next to Chase but he grabs my waist and makes me sit in his lap. I look around to see Athena, Raven,Macelene, and Siarah in Ryan,Dylan, Ethan and Grayson's laps. I smile and start eating. After everyone finishes eating , Raven and I do the dishes. Everyone was doing their pack jobs. The guys were on their patrol shift right now. Raven, Athena , Macelene, Siarah, and I sat in the living room talking and laughing. Our laughing was shortened when Duke and Daniel come in and say "Lil, there are rogues at the border. " The girls and I get up instantly and head to the boarders with Duke and Daniel. Once there , I see someone I used to be friends with , best friends to be exact. Athena, Macelene, Siarah, and Raven run up to her and hug her. "What you doing here ? You are suppose to be on your honeymoon with your husband Max" Asks the girls. "I know but I wanted to stop by and visit you guys before leaving."  says Storm.  Let me fill you in here. Storm Gallows now Storm Martin was my best friend since Kindergarten until the night we celebrated my upcoming wedding ceremony to Keelan. Storm never liked Keelan and always tried to get into my head and convince me that Keelan was a horrible person that didn't deserve me. I never listened to her though. The night of my wedding ceremony celebration we had got into an argument and fought. When Keelan's friends were killed , I had felt their pain as they were stabbed and ripped apart. I had fallen to ground from the pain and was almost to the point of blacking out when I saw Storm grab a knife and stab me in the ribs and say "this is what you get for never listening to me and now I am gonna go take care of your future husband." She left me there bleeding out and I blacked out as soon as the girls had found me. I never told any of the girls about that night because I didn't want them to worry and end their friendship with storm because of me. The only other people that knew that Storm cursed Keelan and killed his friends were Duke, Daniel , and Keelan himself. They saw all of it because she had captured them and forced them to watch all of it and tell me about it. Storm never came back except two times a year to visit the girls in person. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Raven say "come on , cross the border so we can catch up.". "No ! If you girls want to see her you will cross the boarder but she is to never cross the boarder to our side again." I yell. The girls were shocked but didn't argue with me. They went over the boarder with Duke and Daniel. I stayed close watching them. Chase could sense something was wrong with me so he came and wrapped his arms around me. "What's wrong love?" He mind links to me. "I'll explain later" I say and kiss him. "Who is that ?" I heard storm ask the girls. "Lil's new mate Chase." Said the girls. "Interesting" storm says while watching me and chase. The girls finish talking with storm and ask her "when will come back and see us ?" . "I'll be back tomorrow with gifts for all of you." She said while staring at me. She left and we went back to the house. I went into my office with Duke , Daniel, and Chase. We all sat down before chase asked "alright now will someone please tell me what all that was about back there?" We sat there and explained everything to him. "I can't believe she did that to you. Also you have to tell the girls now." He said. "I know , I am going to in a few minutes". I say. "I don't know about you but I don't think the gifts Storm is bringing tomorrow are gonna be good." Said Duke. I agree and say "I'm afraid Storm is gonna try and take over the land through war. Which is why I must tell the girls what happened and warn them before it's too late. " They all nodded . "I'll go get them and the rest of the pack and have them meet into the meeting room." Said Duke and Daniel before leaving the room. Chase hugged me and said " are you nervous about telling them?" "I'm afraid that they will want nothing to do with me after I tell them. I mean they will have every right to be mad at me since I kept this from them for two years now. I just don't wanna lose them." I say. Chase hugs me tighter and says "you were just trying to protect them, I believe they will understand . No matter what happens I will always be by your side" I smile and kiss him. "Thank you " I say. "Your welcome my love" he says and kisses me before we leave and head to the meeting room. Once there we see that everyone is already there so we began telling them what happened. Once we are done explaining everything , Raven stands and says "why did you keep this from us, all of us? We are suppose to be a pack!" I sigh and say "we are a pack. I was trying to protect you." "Why ?" They ask. "Because I could protect you but not my own mate. Are you happy now?" I yell before storming out of the room and going into my room and locking the door. I break down into tears once I'm in my room. I hear a knock and chase say "lil , let me in please". I open the door and let him before shutting and locking the door back. He holds me close and comforts me.  "Shh. Everything is gonna be okay Lil" "They hate me chase" I say in between tears. "No they don't, they just need some time to understand". He says. I cry myself to sleep in Chase's arms. He lays me down in the bed and covers me up with the blankets before kissing my head and leaving the room.
                      * Chase POV*
I leave the room quietly not to wake up Liliana. I turn around and run into Athena and Raven . "we need to talk to Lil" they said. "Shh. She is asleep. Let's go talk in the meeting room until she wakes up alright. " I say. They agree. We go into the meeting room and sit down. "Look , I get why you are mad at her . She kept a secret from you for two years." I say. "We are mad at her . She claims that she was protecting us but all she did was hurt us." Yelled Athena. "I understand but I need you guys to understand that she really does care for you guys. She just spent 30 minutes crying herself to sleep because she is afraid and worried that she is gonna lose you guys. So please all I am asking is that you think about how she feels and what she does to keep all of you safe" I say before getting up and leaving the room. I go into Lil's room and climb into bed next to her. She stirs a little before resting cuddled up next to me . I smile and wrap my arms around her before going to sleep.
                   *Liliana's POV*
I wake up and slowly get out of Chase's arms and walk downstairs to the kitchen. In the kitchen , I find the girls sitting at the island eating and talking. "Hey Lil" says Siarah. "Hey guys, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I thought I was protecting you by not telling but I instead just hurt you. I'm very sorry." I say. "We understand . We are still a little mad but we understand . " they say before hugging me . "What are gonna do about Storm?" Asks Macelene. "Take her down and tell the elders what she did." I say. They all nod. "Lets form a plan of attack then go to bed cause we will all need to be well rested for tomorrow's fight." I say. They nod and we form a plan. Once a plan is formed , we separate and go to bed.
                  *the next day*
The sun shined through the window curtains. I woke up to see Chase gone and heard the shower running. I got up and changed. Chase come out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. "Sorry. I forgot my clothes in here. " he says . "its fine . Um.  I'm gonna be downstairs while you get ready. When you are done , meet me downstairs alright " I say while blushing. "Alright" Chase says and kisses me. I smile and leave the room making sure to shut the door. I went downstairs to see the pack eating breakfast. "Everyone ready to fight to protect our pack land today?" I ask. "Yeah" they yell. Chase comes down dressed and we eat breakfast. After eating , everyone heads to the border . Once we get there , we see Storm , Max , and their pack waiting for us. "Hey girls " Storm says stepping up to the border. "Don't hey us , we know what you did to Keelan and Lil. It is time you pay for what you have done." Says Athena. Storm laughs and says "bring it little girl". We attack them. We have them surrounded and they all surrender except storm who tries to run away but is stopped by ...... Keelan and the moon goddess. "I did not see that coming" says Raven . "agreed " we all say. Keelan and the moon goddess trap her with the chains of darkness. They bring her to us. The elders appear and say "we will take care of these criminals" before disappearing with Storm and her pack. "Well, they are not gonna like where they are going" I say and everyone laughs. We all head back to the house and relax. Keelan and the moon goddess hang out for a while before leaving . We all get ready and head to the race track. Athena and I go with Ryan and Chase to their car and stand with them during the prayer and national  anthem . We kiss them after they get in their cars and wish them luck. We head up and get into their race towers. The race starts and 189 Laps goes back quickly.  The last lap begins and Chase is running in second while Ryan is running in first. The race ends with Ryan being the race leader and Chase ending second. We all celebrate in victory lane with Ryan and his crew before heading back to the house and going to bed after a long and eventful day.
