Chase got out of the truck , walked around to my door and helped out. He helped me walk over to the pack. "Where have you been young lady?" Asked my mom. "I woke up and nobody was there so I came back to the house." I said. "Where did you go after that?" She asked. "I found her in her room and took her to see Chase at the racetrack." Said Daniel. Mom stared at Chase and Daniel before saying "thank you for watching over her. Now Liliana , I want you to get checked by the pack doctor and do what he says understood". We all nodded before heading inside. The doctor was waiting for me in my office. He looked over me and said "you're completely healed but I want you to rest two more days". "Alright" I said . "Is she gonna be alright doctor?" Asked my dad. "Yes, just needs to rest for two more days" said the doctor. My dad nodded then said " Alright, thank you doctor" . The doctor bowed respectfully then left. Chase had his arms wrapped around my waist as my dad said "Lil, I want you to rest for two days and no alpha duties. I mean it Lil. Athena will be taking care of those things understood. ". I nodded and watched my parents leave the room. Chase's phone rang, he answered it and talked for a couple of minutes before hanging up. He sighed before saying " I've gotta get ready for the race tonight, I love you, and I'll call after the race ends alright." "Okay, love you too. " I said sadly. He kissed my cheek before leaving. I sat at my desk and looked at the picture of guardian and I. "Knock , knock kiddo." Said a voice. I looked up to Alena. I got up and helped her sit down. "I wanted to come see how you were doing." She said. "I'm okay. Doctor put me on rest- two days. How are you and the twins doing?" I asked as I sat back down. "That's good. We are all good. " she said while having her hands rest protectively on her stomach. "That's good " I said looking at guardian and I'd photo again. "Brown is in the chambers , if you wanna go see him wait til you are rested and go with Alexander." She said. I sighed and said "okay." She got up and hugged me then said " now get some rest, I'll see you tomorrow kiddo. ". She left . I got up and left my office going to my room to sleep.

I shot up and looked at my finger to see no ring. My rang, I picked it up to see Chase's picture . "hello" I said after answering the call. "Hello, beautiful. You wanna have lunch with me today?" He asked. "Yeah, pick me up at 1om" I said. "Alright , I'll see you then beautiful. " he said before hanging up. I got up and got dressed then went to my office to see Athena and Mace in there. I sat at my desk as Mace asked "You never do listen and do what you're told do you ? ". "No, just like you. Which is just one of the reasons we are best friends." I said. She laughed and said "this is true" then dabbed. We all laughed then Athena asked "his are you feeling today?". "Okay. Do you guys know where my brother is ? I need to talk to him." I asked. The girls say " he is at the training ground , training with the fighters . ". "Can one of you go get him and bring him here?" I asked. "Yeah, I'll go get him. Mace don't let her leave the house." Said Athena. ""Okay" said Mace while staring at me. Twenty minutes later and Mace was still watching me like a hawk, Athena came back in and said "Mace , you can stop staring at her. Sorry it took so long , your brother is so stubborn Lil" . I laughed and said "I could've told ya that. Is he coming?". "Yeah. Mace let's go so they can talk alone and also so we can handle pack business. ". "Alright. Bye Lil, don't do anything that I wouldn't." Said Mace. "Okay, I won't go secretly taking pictures of hot guys and send you the pics." I said while laughing. They laughed then left. Five minutes later, my brother came in and sat down. He looked at me and asked "what did ya wanna talk about T-Rex?" . I laughed and said "I had another nightmare but this time it wasn't about me and guardian . It was about me and chase. We were together and he got shot twice. " Alexander looked at me worried and said "we need to see and tell the elders." I nodded and said "let's get a meeting scheduled." "That actually won't be necessary, the elders are already on their way here to see you." He said. "Why?" I asked. "Before the meeting and accident happened, we asked them to come see you about the nightmares." He said. "Why did you guys do that? I wasn't ready to tell them yet at that time" I said angry. "We just wanted to help you Lil" he said. "I don't need your help Alex!!" I yelled. "Quit lying and for once in your freaking life take care of yourself instead of others. " he yelled. I sat there surprised at his tone of voice. "Whether you like or not lil , you are meeting the elders and telling them about the nightmares. Now I'm done with this conversation and am going back to work." He yelled then stormed out the room. I sat there in shock for a while before being pulled out of my shocked state by a knock. I looked up to see chase at the door with a worried look. "Hey , are you alright?" He asked as he came around the desk and hugged me. I signed and said "yeah, let's go eat I'm hungry. " He laughed and said "alright, let's go love . " He grabbed my hand and we left for lunch. We ate then came back to the house. The girls and I were in the meeting room when chase came in with his best friends . Our friends stared at each other as if lost in a trance. Chase and I looked at each other and mind linked "Mates!!???".
