Family is everything

Chase has been gone racing for the past couple of weekends. I have stayed home with Lucy and the pack. Lucy is adorable as always and has now learned to high five people. The last weekend Chase was here at home we went to Duke and Daniel's wedding . It was a beautiful ceremony. Today Chase is racing and I plan on surprising him at the track with the help of his parents. I got up and got dressed. I walked into the nursery and saw Lucy standing in her crib smiling. I smiled and picked her up and placed her on my hip. "Hello my beautiful baby" I say to her as she giggles and smiles. I change her clothes into the outfit in the picture above. I grab the diaper bag after packing it with the stuff I need and grab my jacket. I head downstairs and see Athena dressed and ready to go. Athena holds Lucy as I take and place the bags in the car. Athena says bye to the Siarah and Mace before going outside and putting Lucy in her car seat. I say bye to the girls after finding Raven and telling her it was time to go. We get in the car and drive to the track. Once at the track , we park the car and all get out . Lucy being held by Raven this time while Athena and I carry the bags. We meet Chase's mom and​ dad at the gate and greet them. They lead us to Chase's garage where his crew and him are. Once in the garage we sat the bags down. I take Lucy from Raven and tell her and Athena to be careful and to text me later. Athena goes to Ryan's pitbox as Raven goes with her to meet up with Dylan. Chase's parents leave to go walk around the track. I stay behind with Lucy waiting for Chase to get done with quilfiying. After an hour quilfiying ends and Chase's pulls his car into his garage and parks it before getting out. He speaks with his crew before spotting me sitting in a chair with a sleeping Lucy in my arms. He smiles and walks over to us. He kisses me and says "I've missed y'all. " I stand up carefully​ to not wake Lucy up from her nap before kissing him. "I've missed you too love. " I say. He smiles and carefully takes Lucy out of my arms and holds her close. We sat down. "So are you excited for our mating/wedding ceremony?" I ask. Before Chase can answer we hear Alan says the race is gonna start soon. We head into pit road and get ready for the race. I stand next to Chase and his parents during the national anthem. I take Lucy from Chase before he climbs into the car. "Good luck and be careful babe . I love you." I say before kissing him. He smiles and says "I will. I love you and Lucy too. " before kissing me and then kissing Lucy on the forehead. I lean out of the window and walk away from the car as Chase starts the engine. I head to chase's pit box with his parents. His mom hold Lucy and says "she's so cute. I can't wait for you guys to have another one. ". I smile at the thought of having more kids with Chase. The race starts. After a while the race ends with Chase wining the stage 2 but ending the race 12th. Chase parks his car and does interviews before meeting us at his trailer. His parents tell him he did a good job and say bye to us after handing me Lucy. We head into Chase's trailer. Chase takes a now wide awake Lucy from my arms and feeds her. He burps her and gets up form the couch and heads unit the bathroom and gives her a bath. He dresses her and lays her down in her foldable crib. Once Lucy is asleep again , he comes back to the couch and sits next to me. We watch a movie . Midway through the movie I fall asleep on his shoulder. I hear the TV being turned off before being picked up by Chase. He carries me to the bedroom and lays me down on the bed. He takes off his suit and shirt before laying down next to me. I turn in his arms and look at him and say" you did great. Thank you for being such a great dad to Lucy and wonderful mate. I love you so much" . He smiles and kissing me before saying " thank you for being a great mom to Lucy and a wonderful mate. I can't wait til you officially become my mate and my future wife someday. Love you beautiful. ". We then fall asleep in each other's arms.
