As if you could resist Kanetsugu's quivering lips and puppy-dog eyes...now Lady Aya had to come and seal the deal and practically force you to accept Kanetsugu's marriage proposal. 

Lord Naoe wasn't a bad guy, no, not at all. The only problem was that he was in love with you, but you weren't sure that you could reciprocate his affections. This was all you could think through the first few weeks of your marriage. But he was so kind, so considerate. But boy did you feel like a sinner when he kissed you tenderly on the lips and all you could think was: do I really love you? You hurriedly pushed away those thoughts as you tried to return the kiss as tenderly as you can.

Breaking away, you cup Kanetsugu's cheek, heart breaking when he leans into the touch.
"Lord Kanetsugu?" You ask hesitantly. He turns his head into your palm and kisses the skin before turning his attention back to you.

The words get stuck in your throat. You can't find it in you to break his heart, you just can't.
