Chapter 4: This means war

Sienna POV

I’ve wanted to see snow sense I was a little girl. Botnia is a tropical country and is usually pretty damn warm, besides the occasional heated rain.

I’d watch my friends go to places with huge snowy mountains; they’d bring back pictures, snow globes, and stories about how amazing snow was. We used to say someday we’d move to a place that snowed in the winter but was warm in the summer; the perfect place. But now I could never leave this country. I would stay here forever never seeing the snow, or a dessert. No great landmarks. Just this god forsaken land. I wanted adventure. I wanted to travel, and not be held down by anything. Now everything will be perfect and predictable. If I traveled it would be for business. I would never have to earn anything; I could snap my fingers and receive anything. Earning things built character, it made you stronger. Things were just that much sweeter when you know you deserved them. I won’t have to work for success, I could have anything but I’ll never have to work for it.

I thought about all the things I wanted to do that I most likely won’t get the chance for. Swim with dolphins, see the snow, go bungee jumping, and actually fall in love. I imagined falling in love like how it was in the movies. Falling in love with a guy that’s been my friend for years, but I guess that won’t be happening now. None of it will.

 I heard the shower turn off and I heard Kole walk out. “Can I come out now?” I called feeling like a bad kid locked in their room.

“Are you going to start throwing things again?”

“It’s highly possible.” I answered letting the smart ass part of me show. There was no reply. I sighed leaning against the door, and started snapping my fingers.

“What are you doing?” He asked sounding like he was right next to the door.

“Seeing if what I want happens when I snap my fingers. I mean I’m practically royal now right?” The door opened and I fell backwards on my back. “Thanks.” I said heavy sarcasm coating my voice.

“No problem princess.” I walked past him and grabbed the clothes from my bag. Which was a long pair a of jeans, and a plan black t-shirt. “Wait you’re gonna wear that?” He said in a very judging tone.

“Unfortunately I don’t dress like a hoe.” I said slamming the door to the bathroom.

Kole POV

Sienna is feisty and hot even when she’s throwing things across the room at me or screaming in a closet. Although I have to say her choice in clothes were disappointing. They were conservative and boring, but I could change that. I walked into the closet and grabbed a different outfit. I unlocked the door to the bathroom with the ‘emergency’ key that was in my dresser drawer. I took her clothes and her towel so she had no choice but to wear the clothes I left. I quietly closed the door and hurried downstairs to grab us some breakfast.

While waiting for the toast to finish my friend Ryan came up to talk to me. “So how is the lovely princess to be?” He asked leaning against the counter.

“Not happy. At all.”

“Really? Because you know I heard some screaming, and crashing and I thought maybe-“ He had the suggestive joking smirk on his face.
