"I'm a transgender to"
At first all I could do was look at him dumbfounded and I kid you not my jaw dropped all the way to the floor.
"W-what?" Was all I could manage to get out while staring at Sam. I probably looked like like scream face while looking at him but I couldn't close my mouth due to the fact that I was so shocked. Sam just chuckled and said "Yeah I'm transgender." He gave me a weak smile. I could see something else behind his eyes like a painful memory of some sort but it was quickly covered up. "Wow. Why didn't you tell me?" I asked still in shock. "Well for one I didn't really know when was the right time and also I didn't think it was really a good conversation starter. Hi I'm Sam I'd like to be your new dad Oh and by the way I used to be a girl" he said with a laugh. I laughed to. I hadn't seen this side of Sam before the layed back Sam that didn't want any boundries.
When we finished are laughing I looked at him with a serious expression. "That's thanks for telling me" I said quietly. He just smiled and nodded knowingly. After that we just had a nice dinner with James being his usual quiet self and Sam and I making small talk and getting to know each other better. When I finished washing my plate I went upstairs after telling them goodnight. My last thought before I drifted off into a peaceful sleep is that even with these new people that didn't know me and that I'd probably get bullied at school in a few days was that at least I wouldn't be alone.I'd been at the house for almost a week now and tomorrow was my first day of school. I'd gone to school back in London but not that much. Just when I had to. And I'm not gonna lie my grade were shit do to my lack of attendance but some how James managed to pull some string and get me into a somewhat decent public school. Not that it wasn't nice or anything because it was by somewhat decent I ment the school it's self it was waaaay down on the list for top best schools but it's the best I could do with my grades and on such short noticed. Sam had taken me out clothes shopping last Thursday and got me some chlothes. And by some I mean alot like alot alot. I think we spent like 300 dollars on clothes not including shoes which cost another hundred. I mean I liked the things and all but I couldn't help but feel like he was just doing this to make me feel better about myself. The good thing was I wasn't very well built for a guy I mean Yeah I had hight but I wasn't to tall and my build was pretty small so finding clothes in the girls section wasn't two hard. All and all I had a good time with Sam. I think I was actually starting to like him a little I wasn't so sure about James though he didn't talk.much but when he did he was always nice to me. And like he promised we would be talking to the doctors next week about my surgery. So I was pretty excited. That day I mostly spent in my room watching Netflix on the new phone James bought me. I went to sleep that night happy and ready to face whatever beach byer prep had in store for me tomorrow. But the truth was I had no idea.
I woke up to the loud (and anoying) alarm clock next to my bead. I'd had an amazing dreamless sleep. "Bloody alarm clocks" I mumbled as I slowly got out of bed and maid my way down stairs. I was surprised to see both Sam and James down stairs. Usually James is gone before I wake up because of work and that's early because I can never sleep in like at all I usually wake up around seven in the morning on a regular basis. As I slowly walked into the kitchen James greeted me with a quiet good morning before going back to his paper. Not in a rude way or anything just a casual quiet James kind of way. Sam on the other hand looked up at me and greeted me with this annoyingly happy smile and a weirdly chipper mood. "Ready for school today" he asked me excitedly. "Umph" Was all I grumbled in reply as I maid my way over to the stove to get some toast. There were eggs and bacon two but I'm a vegetarian so I just ignored the other food. "We have to leave in an hour so hurry and get ready I'll have your schedule printed out when you finish. So I took my toast jogging back up the stairs and into the bathroom. I brushed my wavy brown hair that had red streaks in it and reached just bellow my sholders in a rugged cut because i of course didn't have the money to get it done at an actual salon so I usually just had one of the kids from the group home do it. After washing my face and putting on some eyeliner on I went back to my room to throw on some chlothes. I wasn't one for first impressions and for some reason didn't feel like putting on anything super fancy on today. So instead I just pulled out a new band tee that said "The Wonder Years" on it one of my favorite bands and an pair of torn up jeans. Topping it all up with a new pair of converse before going down stairs. When I walked back into the kitchen I could see that Sam was a little disappointed that I didn't wear anything nicer today but quickly replaced it with a smile. "You look nice" he said. "Thanks" I mumbled back. I wasn't really in the mood for talking much this morning. We walked out into the he warm Florida air and I was a little surprised at first. In London it would be freezing this time of year but in Florida it was warm with a cooling breeze. I walked up to there car and hoped in the passengers seat. The ride to school was quiet. We didn't talk much until late we reached the school. I could feel my hands get cold and clam my and my anxiety start to creep into my mind. I tried to hide it but as always Sam picked up on it instantly. "Hey its gonna be okay. Just ignore what people say about you Tamsin. Your a girl and no one can take that away from you." Sam said confidently. Some how that huge amount of confidence that he had rubbed off on me and my anxiety started to fade but not completely. "Thanks" I said. He just smiled and nodded. When we pulled up to the drop off area I was about to leave when Sam suddenly grabbed my arm. I turned around to look at him confused. "Your schedule" Was all he said as he handed me a piece of paper. I nodded a quick thanks and got out of the car shutting the door firmly behind me. I walked up to the large dubble doors that led into not only a new school but a whole new world. I didn't know what awaited me inside the doors but with one deep breath I walked inside. If only I had known.

Hey guys sorry for the long wait and the probably sucky chapter but I really wanted to give you guys something. This is sorta a filler chapter so that's why it's rather slow and boring sorry about that. Also sorry about not updating but while I was on brake I wasn't really in the mood to write and I knew if I wasn't in the mood it wouldn't be my best writeing. Anyways hope you enjoyed the chapter and please give me feed back. Oh and it will pick up soon I promise I know it's slow but I just needed to get her to school that next chapters will be more interesting. Lastly just so you know I don't have a base line for the chapters or review for them or anything I just write what comes to mind during the chapter. That's why it may be a little jumpy in parts. Anyways thanks to those who read this part and to all who read my story I love you all so much. Best wishes XXXP.S I'd love to hear how yells brake went. 😚❤
