Lynnette was focused on counting out the change for the customer when the ring of the bell went off signaling someone had stepped in. Lynnette's eyes snapped up seeing a man dressed as a delivery boy, walked in with a large bouquet of roses. He walked up to her looking at the tag before his brown eyes met her grey ones.

"Lynnette?" He asked her blond eyebrows pulling together as his eyes read her name tag.

"That's me." She said tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she handed the older man his change and coffee.

"These are for you." He said handing her the roses. Lynnette reluctantly grabbed the roses confused as the man walked out. Charlie walked out just as the delivery man left, looking at Lynnette in confusion when he noticed the flowers.

"Who are those from?" He asked coming over to help her search for the note.

"I have no clue." She said truthfully when she finally found the tiny folded paper. Her name was scribbled on in fancy cursive, the paper indented as the person who wrote it pressed hard on the pen. She opened the paper seeing 'sorry- Jace' scribbled on it. Her anger spiked when she read his name.

Really? He thought this was going to solve it?

"Who's it fro-" Charlie started once he saw Lynnette's angry face. She grabbed the roses taking her apron off as she stormed over the counter.

"Where does Jace work?" Lynnette asked trying to keep anger out of her tone.

"In the big building in town- why?" Charlie asked, but Lynnette ignored him storming out and going to her jeep. She forced the key in the ignition, before speeding off to Jace's work.

"Where is Mr. King." She said to the lady at the front office. Her small fist clenched the roses in her hand as she waited for the receptionist to reply.

The receptionist ignored her blowing a bubble with her punk gum before she continued typing away.

"Where is Mr.King?" Lynnette asked louder this time. The receptionist rolled her cat green eyes, before landing them on Lynnette. Her red hair was pinned in a tight bun as her pale skin was freckled. She wore a pencil skirt and a red button down that complimented her hair.

"Look hun, I understand you are mad because you woke up with out him in your bed, and you thought that he was going to fall in love with you-" the reception started off in.

"What the hell are you talking about? I didn't shag him. Now tell me where the hell he is before I beat your face in." Lynnette threatened. The lady narrowed her eyes before saying top floor.

"Took you long enough." Lynnette muttered before storming off to the elevator, and pressing the top floor. Her arms were crossed over her chest as she angrily tapped the toe of her worn converse to the floor. On the way up, the elevator doors opened and a young man, around Lynnette's age stepped in. His black hair was cut short, and he was well built, as his shirt clung to his tanned skin. His eyes eyeballed Lynnette's before a flirty smile formed his slightly freckled face.

"I don't think I've seen you here before, I would have-"

"Cut it there Romeo I'm not in the mood for bad pick up lines. " Lynnette cut him off watching as his smile faltered.
