2: The Condo

"Hindi ka ba na gu-guilty sa ginagawa natin?" Tanong ni Sarah habang yakap yakap sya ni Gerald sa likod watching the sunset sa secret condo nila sa tagaytay.

"Guilt? Nah." He hug her tighter. "More like scared."

She turn to face him. "Scared?"

"Na mawala ka. Na hindi kita mayapos ng ganito." He hug her tight. "Magawa ito." He kiss her sa forehead. "Maramdaman ito." He take her hand and place it on his chest.

She smile widely. She kiss him on the lips. "Hindi ka pa nasasawa sa arrangement natin?"

"I love Wednesdays." He smile widely. "I wouldn't change it for the world." He kiss her.

Dumating si Mateo sa bahay ng mga Geronimo to pick up Sarah. They're both free on Tuesday so, they decided to go on a date. Movie and a dinner date. She wanted to watch Finding Dory.

She they walk holding hands sa mall, people are taking pictures of them at nag papa autograph. "Akala namin break na kayo!" Sabi ng isang fan. They just smiled at her.

"Break na ba tayo love?" Sabi ni Mateo.

"Hahahahaha. Siguro!" She lift her hand that's intertwine with his. He laughs.

"By the way, Papa is cooking dinner tomorrow night. He wants you to come and have dinner with us," sabi ni Mateo. "I know you are off. I checked with Ate Chai."

Na alala nya tomorrow is Wednesday. She specifically ask for Wednesdays off. "Oh Love, you know I can't on Wednesdays. It's my only day off for myself."

"I know. Pero sana maka attend ka. Mama and Papa misses you. Lagi ka busy." Mateo said.

"Maybe, I can do breakfast," Sarah suggested.

Nag isip si Mateo. "Okay. I'll text Papa to cook breakfast na lang." He smile.

"Thanks Lovey." She smile at him.

Napa tingin si Mateo sa harapan at meron sya nakita na kakilala nya. "Ge!" He calls him.

Gerald looks to where he heard his name. Nakita nya bigla si Sarah. He smile widely. "Hey Matt!" He wave at him.

"Hi Matt! Sars!" Bea also wave at them.

"Hi!" Sarah wave at Bea. She stare at Gerald and smiled.

After the movie they have dinner sa favorite Italian restaurant ni Mateo. Madaldal si Matt kaya hindi boring ang mga dates nila. Kahit ano pumasok sa utak ni Mateo sinasabi nito. "Malapit na matapos Dolce Amore and then I get a break. Sana maka pag vacation tayong dalawa lang. I want to take you to my home town sa Italy."

She slowly eat her pasta. "Alam mo naman hindi pa puede. Hindi pa papayag sila Mommy and Daddy."

Napa hinga ng malalim si Mateo. "I know. I just thought subukan ko."

She touch his hand. "I'm sorry. Konting tiis na lang. Darating din tayo doon."

"Pakasal na tayo," Mateo protest.

Sarah laughs. "Sira ulo ka talaga."

"Seryoso ako Love," Mateo said holding her hand. "We are about to mark our four years anniversary. I love you and you love me. I don't see any other reason." He stare at her eyes. "Right? Or is there a reason?"

"Mateo, ano ba. Wala noh!" She defended.

"Talaga lang ha?" He let go of her hands.

"Please Mateo wag ngayon. We always fight about the same thing. Hindi ka na ba nasasawa?"

"Kasi naman three years na tayo I feel like meron pa rin ako kahati sa puso mo!"

Tumayo si Sarah. "Take me home please." She said.

"Sarah." Mateo grab her hand.

"I want to go home now. Please." She command him. "Kung hindi mo ako ihahatid tatawagan ko si kuya."

"No need." Mateo stands up. He follows her.

It was indeed a quiet ride back to her house.

"How did you like the movie?" Tanong ni Bea while she chops some vegetables. After the movie they decided to go to Bea's house to have dinner. She wants to cook him his favorite kare kare.

"It was cute." He smile. "It's not my kind of movie but it was cute."

"What are you doing tomorrow? Isn't it your day off?" She ask him.

"Nothing much. But it's my time alone for myself."

"Why don't you spend it with me? Here!" She volunteer. "I just have a photoshoot in the morning tapos noon I'm all yours!"

"I would love too honey, but it's best for my own being to have at least one day alone time a week," he explained while he hug her from behind watching her stir the pot. "You should know. You have more hectic schedule than mine."

"Okay honey," she said. "Or baka lang meron kang ibang babae pinupuntahan pag Wednesday!" She joked.

Her joke hit him hard. He let go of her. He try to think of something clever to say. "Hahahaha..." He nervously laugh. "Hey, you never know!"

That earn him hampas. "Sira ulo ka!"

"Hahahahahaah tinaman ka naman!" Sarah laughs. She jumps on the couch next to him with chips. Naka pambahay lang sya. Pinatong nya ang mga legs nya sa lap ni Gerald.

He laughs. "Kinabahan nga ako eh!" He starts massaging her feet. "Did you say YES to Matt?"

"No. Hindi pa ako ready. You know that," she reply. "Marami pa ako gustong gawin. I want to finish school. Go on more vacations—"

"I want to take you on vacation. Some where Na walang na kakakilala sa atin. Some where secluded. So I can hold your hands. Kiss you whenever I want." He smile at her. "Shout out from the top of my lungs how much I love you."

"We'll get there Babe," she said smiling back at him. Sinubuan nya ng chips si Gerald. "How's your foundation pala?"

"It's going great! My dad and Ken are so excited." He continue to massage her feet. "Meron kaming grand opening next month. Big party. Si Bea na nag aasikaso."

She move closer to him. She sit on his lap. "You know I'd love to be there. To be part of one of your dreams." She caress his face.

"I know, Babe. I know." He kiss her palm. "Kamusta pala breakfast mo with Mateo's family?"

"It was okay. We had a fight yesterday kaya kinda distant kami to each other," she said. "His family is always sweet and nice to me."

"My mom loves you," Singit ni Gerald.

"Hahahahaha. And I love her too!" She said.
