9: The Other Woman

Year 2020

It's another ASAP rehearsal for Sarah and Gerald. Halos lagi sila ang pinag pa-partner mag sayaw since they both got back. And as usual they don't talk to each other. They don't even greet each other. They watch the G-Force dance their routine and they do it.

They're both waiting on the opposite side of the small dance studio. They're waiting for their teacher to come and teach them the dance. He's on his phone texting. She, however forgot her cellphone. She's humming a song that's been stuck in her head for couple of days.

After five minutes wala pa rin ang G-Force. Sarah started doing her stretches while humming. Every time she bends over napapatingin naman si Gerald sa kanya.

He put his cellphone away and starts copying Sarah. He's stretching and doing push ups. Sarah stops and roll her eyes.

Bigla na may pumasok na babae na tumitili sa dance studio nila. Sarah and Gerald both look. "Ay sorry! Hahahahaha! Wrong room!" Sabi ng babae.

"Hi Jessy!" Bati ni Gerald.

"Hi, Ge!" She give him a kiss sa cheek.

"Lalo tayo gumaganda ah!" Sabi ni Gerald.

Sarah rolls her eyes harder and turns her back on them.

"Ikaw talaga mambobola ka pa rin!" Hampas nya sa braso ni Gerald at hindi na inalis ang kamay nya doon.

She flirts with him even more. At naiirita na si Sarah. She wants to get out of there. Aalis na sana sya ng nakita sya ni Jessy. Nag katinginan sila.

"Sige Ge. See you around. Mauna na ako." Paalam ni Jessy. One more look kay Sarah and umalis na rin si Jessy.

Nangingiti naman si Gerald sa nangyari. "Hangang ngayon takot pa rin si Jessy sayo ah!"

"Shut up!" She replies. "Hangang ngayon mang gagalit ka pa rin!"

"Okay! We're here!" Sabi ni Teacher G pag pasok nila ni Ram. "Absent muna si Gelai kaya kami ni Ram and mag tuturo."

Sarah and Gerald walk to Teacher G and Ram to listen to their instructions.

Year 2015

Sarah and Mateo have been arguing for the past six months. Sarah was too busy with everything around her and Mateo was also busy. Every time they make time for each other they end up fighting about the littlest things.

It's the Holiday season and Sarah promised to be with Mateo on New Years. But what he really wants is to spend Christmas with his family and Sarah's family. They both know that Sarah's family is not in favor of that plan. They had a huge argument about it.

"Sarah you always do this! Three years na tayo ganto pa rin ang set up?" Mateo said. They're talking sa front yard ni Sarah. "When are you going to talk to them about accepting me."

Sarah just sat there quietly.

"Do you even love me? Or si Gerald pa rin?" He asked her.

"Paano naman napasok si Gerald sa usapan?" Naiinis niyang sabi. "The last time I talked to Ge was like two years ago! Hindi nga talk eh! We just nodded at each other! You need to stop being insecure! Ikaw nga diba pinili ko? Kung si Gerald pa rin eh di sana wala tayo ngayon! And why do you keep questioning my love for you?!" Nagagalit na sya.

"Sarah he still loves you! And I know that for a fact!"

"So?! Do you see me talk to him or whatever! Sandali bakit nga tayo napunta sa topic na ito we're talking about Christmas and New Years! Ano ba Matt?! You're being ridiculous!"

"Okay! Okay!" He raise both of his hands in defeat. "So Christmas? I'm going here with my family and New Year sa Cebu tayo with both of our family!"

"I'll have to see. I can't promise," Sarah replied. "Mama's relatives sa Pampangga wants to celebrate New Year with us kasi birthday ni Lolo. Tapos sa Christmas na—"

"Ang dami mong excuses! Lets face it your family doesn't want me for you and will never accept me!" He walked out.

"Matt!" She called him but he didn't look back. He's so hurt.

She went back to her room and shut the door. She was so mad na naiiyak na sya. Her mom and dad went inside her room to talk to her. "Meh, Deh bakit po ba ang hirap sa inyo na tanggapin si Mateo? He's nothing but nice to me."

"I'm sorry anak. Sige we'll be more open minded sa relasyon nyo ni Matt. Kung mahal mo sya talaga," sabi ng daddy nya.

"Kaya nyo po ba patunayan ang sinabi nyo?" She asked them. "Can he and his family spend Christmas with us dito po sa bahay tapos New Year sa Cebu po tayong lahat?"

Nag tinginan ang mag asawa. "Oh sya sya! Sige na. Payag na kami!" Sabi ng mommy nya.

She got excited and gave both of them many hugs and kisses.

She quickly texted Mateo for the good news. She even called him multiple times but he wasn't picking up. She waited couple of hours for him to reply back pero wala. She's worried. She even called his home phone wala pa rin. She called her driver to drive her to Mateo's house.

"Ma'am Sarah parang wala naman tao," sabi ng driver nya. He rang the door bell to Mateo's house pero walang sumagot. "Baka tulog na ma'am."

She remembered that he leaves the key in a secret rock by the gate incase of emergency. "Kuya sandali lang ako ha. Surprise ko lang."

She got inside the house and saw that it was a bit messy. Like, someone had just finished eating. Bukas pa ang tv. "Love?" She called out. "Love? Guess what!" She walked around the house more. "Matt!" She called him. Then, she saw Jessy sa backyard na meron ka yapos na lalake. She walked closer. Then she saw her kiss the guy on the lips.

Her heart dropped when she finally realized who Jessy was kissing. She stared at them viciously. The two didn't realize that Sarah is behind them until she spoke. "I don't think Luis would like this."

Nagulat ang dalawa.

"Sarah! Love!" Mateo walked to her.

"Don't!" She slapped him. Hard at na nginginig pa.

"Sarah, its not what you think!" Sabi ni Jessy.

"Isa ka pa!!" She yelled and pointed at her. "Don't even think about it!"

She quickly walked out of Mateo's house crying. "Kuya! Tara na po pls!" She got in the car. She called someone. "Mag kita tayo please, kailangan kita." She hung up.

"Ma'am Sarah, dito lang po ako sa kotse pag kailangan nyo ako ha?" Sabi ni Kuya while handing her his jacket.

"Salamat Kuya." She said sitting by the rocks looking over the city lights of Manila. She was still crying from what she had witnessed.

She heard footsteps and leaves cracking. She knew who it was. She quickly turned to hug the person and cried. "Siiiiisssss..."
