I take a deep breath. I close my eyes. He's pressing hard, but not hard enough to make me have any severe bleeding. I enjoy him cutting me. Then, he stops. I look at my wrist. Crisom drops of blood are seeping out of the cut. Then, perfect lines of blood go down my arm. Not enough to kill me, but enough to let me enjoy the pain.
I grab the scissors back from him and lick my blood off of them. James looks at me with disgust. I smile back at him. "I have to go now. I'll bring you food later and tomorrow you'll have another assignment." I roll up my sleeve. All I can do now is smile and walk into Elizabeth's room.
I close the door and smile. Elizabeth is crying. "Alice, why are you doing this to me!? We're best friends!"
"But you never cared about me. That's why you're here. And if you want to live, you must do as I say." I go into my pocket and take out a lighter along with a cigarette. I light the cigarette and have a quick smoke. I blow out the smoke and then hand the cigarette to Elizabeth. She looks at it with horror.
"No...no Alice....please don't make me smoke it." I laugh at the comment she makes.
"You've gotta be kidding me Elizabeth! You think I'm going to let you smoke it? NO! I would never waste a cigarette like that." I roll up my right sleeve. "Right here. Press the end of it right here." She's crying harder.
"NO! NO! I WON'T DO IT!" She won't stop crying. I take the cigarette and press it against her face. She screams in pain. "OUCH!"
"UNLESS YOU WANT ME TO DO THAT AGAIN, PUT IT ON MY ARM! NOW!" She looks at my arm. Then at the cigarette when I place it in her hand. I hold down my arm. "Do it." I say sternly.
She looks away and presses it onto my skin. All I do is try my best not to move my arm. I look away from Elizabeth. I might be making her torture me, but I still can't watch her cry her eyes out because maybe she actually cares about me.
