Eddie POV

"Eddie, I could be a witch like Patricia." I went to interrupt her but she continued. "Seriously, I've given this a lot of thought. What if I'm a witch and that's why I can see charms." Amber was pacing across her room as I sat on Nina's bed watching and reading the newbies files.

"Amber, you're not a witch," I sighed, keeping my eyes on the files in my lap.

"We didn't think Patricia was a witch," she pointed out as I rolled my eyes.

"You're not a witch," I repeated.

"Is there any other kind of Supernatural that looks human?"

"Yes but you're not a Supernatural Amber," I argued back as she sighed and sat next to me.

"What are you doing?" she asked, looking over my shoulder.

"Going over these folders again since they're coming tomorrow," I explained as she nodded.

"Are we going to start training tomorrow?"

"You have to do a written test first so we can see where you are and what you could do best."

"Cool, so how's it going to work?"

"I'll teach hand to hand combat, Nina will teach weaponry, and KT will teach the technology part of it and climbing and cardio and that stuff."

"KT has the hard part?"

"We all have a hard part." She nodded in understanding as she played with her hair, braiding it and unbraiding it. "You're not a Supernatural or a witch!" I groaned.

"I could be!" she shrieked. I laughed as she crossed her arms.

"Want to help?" I questioned, gesturing to the files in my lap.

"You trust me to help?"

"Why not?" I shrugged as she smiled brightly and took the folder.

Fabian POV

"So tonight you guys are going to break the eighth step?" Jerome asked as Nina nodded.

"Do guys need help or anything?" Joy questioned as Nina and I shook our heads.

"We got this," Nina smiled, tucking a strand of dirty blonde hair behind her ear.

"Are you sure? Because we can help and keep watch," Amber spoke up.

"We're fine. The less people up and moving the better," I smiled at her as she nodded.

"You guys need sleep anyways, you start training tomorrow after your little test," Eddie said as we all groaned.

"Test?" Jerome muttered.

"We just need to see where you are, it's not hard or a legit test just a interest, skills thing," KT explained.

"The mini hunters are coming tomorrow right?" Joy asked.

"Yes Joy, the "mini hunters" are coming tomorrow," Nina laughed.

"Go get some sleep and just relax," KT spoke softly as we all nodded and walked out of Patricia, Willow, and Joy's room.

"Fabian!" Nina called as I poked my head through the door frame, "Midnight. We check the stairs at midnight." I nodded in understanding as she followed me out and went to her room with KT.

KT POV

I sat on my bed, with our many trunks surrounding me, sorting through our weapons and organizing them. A knock came at the door as Eddie entered.

"Are you going to stay up with Patricia tonight?" Nina asked from her spot on the floor.

"I don't know yet," he sighed.

"Did you guys tell Fabian and Patricia about the Chosen One and Osirian?" I asked, polishing one of Nina's many knives.

"Yea," they chorused.

"Did they understand?"

"Yea, what were they going to do freak out more cause we're special hunters with special powers and abilities? I mean Patricia's a witch! She can't judge," Nina laughed as Eddie nodded.

"But we're not telling the rest of Sibuna. I mean there's no point really," Eddie whispered.

"If we don't tell them they'll feel betrayed."

"You have to tell them eventually," I added as he groaned.

"Quit your whining!" Nina scolded.

"Have you gotten any visions about the cup?" I asked Eddie as he shook his head no.

"Not even a whisper from Osiris," he pouted as Nina threw a pillow at him.

"Want to trade places? The house won't shut up! The thing is it's not saying anything useful!" she groaned. We laughed as she sorted through papers.

Amber POV

I skipped up the stairs to my room after telling Alfie goodnight. I entered the hall and automatically got a scowl on my face.

"Jerome, what are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm not eavesdropping if that's what you think," he spoke up.

"Yea, you just came to get something and accidentally heard the conversation?" I replied sarcastically.

"I did!" he shouted. "Alfie left this monster mask in your room!"

"Ok! I believe you, what'd you hear?"

"They were talking about the Chosen One and Osirian."

"Explain," I ordered as he told me the whole conversation. "That's...amazing!" My squeal was cut short as Jerome clamped his hand over my mouth.

"Amber shush!" he scolded as I smiled sheepishly. "They don't want the rest of Sibuna to know therefore this is going to stay our little secret."

"Since when do you care what other people want?" I questioned, raising my eyebrows at him.

"Joy's changed me dear Amber. Now keep your big mouth shut and don't tell anyone what we know," he instructed.

"I'm not an idiot you know," I muttered as he rolled his eyes.

"I didn't say that. I said you're a blabber mouth," he clarified as I pouted.

"Says the one who told everyone in this house our friends' biggest secret," I teased.

"Amber," he groaned.

"Night Jerome," I replied, knocking on my door and opening it.

Nina POV

I crept down the stairs quietly, counting each one as I went. Once finding the one I needed to pry open, I sat down on the one below before hearing footsteps.

"Shh," I instructed, making a gesture as Fabian sat beside me.

"Can you open it?" he asked as I nodded.

"Yep, I got my bike tools," I smiled, showing him before taking a tool out. I pried the step up slowly as it let out a high pitched screech.

"Be careful," Fabian warning as I removed the wood. I looked in the hollow, seeing nothing before giving Fabian a confused look. "Are you sure it's the right step?"

"Yea. Wait I see something." I reached my hand in and grabbed out the shiny key as I heard Victor call out. I gathered up my tools before setting the wood in its place and scurrying off to hide with Fabian by the cellar door.

"Who's down there?" Victor shouted as I put my finger to my lips. I could hear Victor's loud footstep come closer to the end of the staircase before hearing him fall. I stifled a laugh as Victor fixed the step and limped upstairs.

"That was priceless," I whispered to Fabian as he let out a soft laugh.

"Yea. So what is it? A key?"

"Yea I guess. We'll have to figure out what it goes to." He nodded in understanding before telling me to be careful heading upstairs and kissing the top of my head.
