4 Days Later, Daryl's POV

The air was growing colder and it was getting harder to keep crops alive here at The Hilltop.

Eventually Maggie, Sasha and I would have to leave. It would get to dangerous with the Saviors poking around still.

But we still haven't left. Maggie was feeling the pregnancy more and more and finally had a small baby bump.  Her clothes were getting tighter.

Sasha stepped out from her building she and Maggie slept in and I started pulling my weapons on, well, the small amount I had.

"We should go on a run, maybe look for clothes for Maggie when she started getting bigger ya know."

I nodded my head "Ain't got nothing better to do" I said in agreement as I stood up and hoisted my gun up.

She sighed "We could be marching up on Negan and shooting him and all his lacky's in the head" she said.

I looked at her and shook my head "Don't be stupid, ya wouldn't get within a shootin distance to even try it"

She shook her head "Dahlia wrote out a map, it doesn't do us much good if we aren't taking action" she said.

I shook my head "We don't got enough guns or people, Rick will make a plan and we'll kill Negan when we get the chance to" I said.

She sighed in defeat but nodded her head and hoisted her gun up as Maggie came walking out.

"Where are you guys off to?" She asked.

"A run, won't be to long" Sasha said and stared at her.

"I'll go with-"

"Absolutely not, ya got a baby on board, ya ain't goin no where" I exclaimed

She sighed but nodded her head in defeat "alright...be back before dark or I'll come looking"

We both nodded out heads and started walking to the front gates.

Today was going to be a long day.

Dahlia's POV, 6 hours later

The sun was setting and I swore I would never have seen The Hilltop tonight. I couldn't stand being away another day. Every night was pure misery.

And poor Sarah had to deal with my suffering through it.

"So are these people...like...good?" She asked "these aren't the crazy freaks you told me about?" She asked.

I shook my head and smiled "No no, these are friends....these are the good ones..."

She nodded her head and fiddled with her new gun on her side and the crowbar in between her legs.

I smiled reassuringly "I promise" I said.

She smiled and nodded and people stood on the fence watching. I remembered the one kid that asked me out.

I stopped the truck outside the gate and looked around outside before stepping out and leaning against the truck.

"Dahlia?" The kid said with a smile.

"Its me...let me in" I said.

He nodded his head and disappeared from sight and I got back in the truck and pulled in as the gate swung open.
