Chapter 6 - soon

Arizona

A lot has happened since Damon and I have last interacted. There's a new guy in town, and he's absolutely amazing. His name is Liam. Liam Dunbar. He had just move to town after his dad's job moved here. He plays lacrosse, and he's great at it. Liam and I have gotten really close after the couple past days. I really like him. We're not dating, but maybe that may change. Elena, Stefan and I had figured out things. We're okay. Stefan told us all about him, which I'm happy for the truth. After my incident, Damon has left town apparently. But today is the car wash. I've decided to go because every girl is. And it would be nice to get out after that horrible day happened. I invited Liam to come help too. Liam comes and picks me up, we drive to the school and suddenly see Caroline. I still have a grudge on her since that night. Liam and I walk up to Elena and Stefan.
"Hey, Stefan and, Elena." I say happily. I haven't been this happy since last year. I felt good.
"Hey Ari, and Liam. You two looking good." Elena complements and winks. We keep chatting until Caroline sends us off to clean vehicles. Great. I turn around to grab a new sponge, but I see the hose is spraying at Tiki. And I look around and see Bonnie. I run to Bonnie and shake her.
"Bonnie. Are you alright?" I ask.
"Yeah, sorry. I got caught up on something." Bonnie replies walking away. I go back to my car, and Caroline says we need more towels. So I have to go in the school and look around. I see a crow. A crow. In the middle of the hallway.
"What the hell." I mumble quietly.
"What are you doing in here?" I ask it. But it starts flying and I start to follow it. I'll get those damn towels later. I go out of the school, and the bird stops. I've looked down once, and I don't know why this bird is getting to my curiosity. I land up at the Salvatore house. I walk up and wonder why here. Stefan said Damon left town awhile ago. The door is wide open, so I walk in. I hear a faint voice of my name.
"Ari." I walk down some stairs and see a downstairs. I look around to find a storage room with shelves and a cooler, okay. Then next to that room I see a cellar? I go to check in the room, but I don't see anything.
"Who are you?" The man asks. I get startled, but I reply almost instantly.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to barge in like this. I'm Arizona, Arizona Gilbert actually. I'm a friend of Stefan. I don't know why I went down here. I thought I heard my name. I'm sorry I should go." I started to move my way upstairs until I heard a bang against that cellar door. I see.. Damon?

Elena

Stefan and I are happy. We did sort things out after his confession. It's not something that should be considered okay after a day, but Stefan is still Stefan. Stefan and I had to lie to Ari that Damon left town. He is and still is a threat to this town, I feel bad because she cares for him. But as Stefan, Liam and, I were talking I forgot about Ari. She went to grab towels, but she should be back by now.
"Stefan. Have you seen Ari?" I ask.
"No, I haven't why?" Stefan asks back.
"She should be back by now." I say. We go check the whole school. No Ari. We check outside. No Ari. Where else can she be?
"Elena, let me call my uncle." Stefan says.

Stefan's POV

"Hi." Zach says.
"Have you seen a girl, long brown hair, brown eyes, 5'8 - 5'9 ish. Her name is Arizona." I give a full blown description.
"Yeah. She's here alright. She found out about Damon and she won't stop yelling at me." He says.
"How?"
"All she said was that she's your friend, and she heard her name from downstairs." Zach says.
"Okay, I'll be there soon." I say.
"Elena she found out about Damon."

Arizona

"Why is he in there?" I ask furiously.
"He's not on good terms with the human race." They guy says.
"So he's killed people?" I ask.
"Yes, and he's not going to stop."
"Has Stefan killed people?" I ask. Now the guy won't say anything.
"If Stefan killed people, why isn't he locked up." I said.
"Because Stefan feeds on animals now."
"Okay past tense. He probably killed people just like Damon did, but Stefan is suddenly the good one here. Damon might be rude, selfish, or uncalled for, but he's a vampire. What do you want him to do? Starve to death. Killing Damon isn't going to help your guy's problems." I say. I don't honestly know why I'm standing up for him. And suddenly Stefan and Elena walk in.
"Let him out." I demand. Stefan sighs.
"We can't, Ari. He's too much of a threat right now." Stefan says.
"Well do something! Don't let him starve in there. Take away his daylight ring or something. He's killed people, so have you!" I say very loudly.
"I have. You're right, but that was a while ago." He says calmly.
"So what's the difference now, and a while ago. You both took away loved ones from a family." I say calmer now.
"Could I talk to Damon?" I asked calmed down now. Stefan just nods, he walks me down to the cellar and Damon is lying down. I can't imagine feeling like that. Stefan closes the door behind me and leaves. I know he can still hear me but, whatever.
"Hi." I say quietly.
"I heard your little speech up there. Very nice of you to say. I didn't think you would be kind and talk back." Damon says. I blush. Why?
"So that crow. Was that you the whole time? Like in the graveyard, in my room and the school?" I ask changing topics.
"Yes it is. You're smarter than I thought." He says.
"I'll talk to Stefan, to let you out." But you can't go kill people after he lets you out. Let them live and then compel them, I know its not your "nature" but Elena and Stefan are still my friends and I do respect them." I say. I stand up and go out of the cellar. Elena and I go home. It was awkward nonetheless.
"Ari. I'm sorry I had to li-." Elena got cut off by me."
"Sorry isn't going to do anything Elena." I say disappointed. I went to Jeremy's room and lay on his bed with him.
"My day sucked. What about yours?" I ask Jeremy.
"All Vicki wants me for is drugs. But I do like her, a lot actually. I denied her request with her friends at the cemetery. They probably think I'm a scared shit." Jeremy says.
"Vicki. She's Vicki, she'll come around. It seems like she's just doing this because of the things happening in her life. It's her escape from reality." I say sighing. I get a buzz from my pocket. Text from Elena.
"Come down. News." I hurry downstairs to see what happened. Jeremy seems intrigued, and follows. On the news it's said "Animal attacks on teenagers. No identification but a teenager named "Vicki Donovan." If you know her please call. We will post further details later." Animal attacks means vampires. And the only one that was starving to kill 5 teenagers. Damon. I remembered Stefan has his daylight ring, so Damon is going to want it back sooner or later.
