Chapter 1

Jessica P.O.V

" Come on Jessy, get up you have to get ready for school", My mom was waking me out of my slumber.

" I'm up ma , I'm up", she got up from the end of my bed and walked out of the room.

I rolled out of my bed and on the floor with a loud thud "ouch, shit ". I hated school ,especially the first day back to your new school. The attention I seek drains me because of the way I look.

See I'm a stud , Standing at 5"7 , light skinned , tattooed arms, hazel eyes , curly length hair and a piercing. I was every girl dream stud, not that I'm cocky but it was the truth.

I lived here in California with my mom, we moved from Brooklyn because of the numerous killings happening, it was tragic and especially it was hard because my dad was caught in a cross fire between Crips and Blood.

He was a drug dealer but he kept his shit low and he always treated my mama and I with decency and respect, also he gave us both the world.

When he died , my mom lost it and never talked to anyone. Not even my grandma for weeks , whiles she was losing it over my father's death , I slightly became lonely to the fact that I didn't do with other girls do, I hanged with dope dealers and my big boy cousins all the time.

I rarely had time to even care about " girl things " and started to absolutely hate it . Changing my appearance and coming clean to my family wasn't easy but it made my mama realize she need to step her game up.

She started to gather herself better and we moved here in Cali. " Jessyyyy hurry your ass up, you finna be late !". I pitched out of my day dream and ran in the bathroom.

The shower I took , it tooked about 15 minutes and I was out with a towel wrapped around my body. Pulling out a Tommy Hilfiger briefs and a black sports bra , I pulled on a ripped true religion light washed jeans, a white natica shirt and white airforce. I grabbed my book bag and car keys , Strolling down the stairs.. My mom handed me a fruit and water and kissed me on my forehead " Next time , I'm gonna let you snooze your ass on until your 2 hours late for school ". I laughed " Mama I'm sorry , I love you ". " Yeah whatever " she slap my arms from wrapping around her and walked back in the kitchen. I loved that woman right there, she is my world man.

Opening my car door , I got work an incoming call from my bro Cassidy, " Sup Cass " , " Yooo brooo , come for me dog, My car won't start". " Ight I'm on my way ". " igghttt Jayy" . And with that I hooked my IPhone 6s to the Aux and drove to Cassidy house with my speakers booming with Anime Caroline .
