After running down, what I can only assume to be 20 flights of stairs, Natsu kicked open the doorthat lead to the ground floor. Pulling me along with him, we turned a few corners and walked for a good minute. Natsu seemed to be getting annoyed at something until he spotted a red headedgirl and called out to her. "Erza, where's everybody at?"

The girl turned around and looked at him. Rolling her eyes she responded, "Looking for you stupid. Where have you been?" She said running up to us. She also wore a pair of green camouflage pants and a black T-shirt.

"Just looking around. Had to make sure there wasn't anybody else in the building."

The girl then looked to me and nodded. "Then who's this?"

Natsu's head shot back to me, looking as if he'd forgotten he just dragged me down several flights of stairs. "Oh shit! Erza this is Lucy. Lucy this is Erza." He introduced us, gesturing back and forth.

"Hi." She smiled at me. "Was she scratched or bit? Did you do a thorough check?" She asked looking back at Natsu as her face switched to nothing short of irritated.

"Erza, she's good. Do you really think I wouldn't have put a bullet in her, if I didn't think she could be infected?" He said nonchalantly.

Erza rolled her eyes once again and stepped towards me. She pulled out a flashlight and shined it into my eyes as she opened them wide. After checking both eyes for whatever she was looking for, she turned off the flashlight leaving me slightly blind and blinking the dark circles out of my vision.

She said putting the flashlight away. She then grabbed my face and examined it, doing the same to my arms causing Natsu to let g of my wrist, before backing away and apologizing. "Sorry, just have to make sure that we aren't dealing with the infected. You know how it is." She said.

" I don't actually. I only just heard about there being "infected" a few minutes ago." I said as I rubbed my eyes trying to get my vision back to normal. " But I can only imagine."

Erza's head shot back to Natsu. "What does that mean?" She asked confused.

" I found her on the roof, says that she doesn't know how she got there." Natsu replied to her.

"What the hell Natsu? That doesn't scream red flags to you?" Erza asked, obviously upset. "You're lucky she isn't infected or I'd put a bullet in the both of you right here and now."

She sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. She took another glance at me before looking towards Natsu and telling him that we would be leaving as soon as the others got back. Just as she said that, a shout came from our left, causing us to look in that direction.

"Aye Natsu, where have you been, we've been looking everywhere for you?" A guy with jet-black hair came running up to us. He had on a pair of black jeans with a grey shirt and a dark jean jacket.

"Out finding the last survivor on the roof. Did you find the supplies?" Natsu asked him as he came up next to him.

"Yeah, we got them. Took a while to sort through since some of them were expired." A girl I had only just noticed said. She had long blue hair and wore a pair of black skinny jeans and a brown crop top with a tan flannel and baseball cap. "Especially since someone didn't want to read the label." She said looking to the raven haired guy while smirking.

"Really babe? It's not like it's a big deal, the warning label is just a suggestion anyways." He shrugged.

"Right and we don't live in the apocalypse with a shit ton of cannibals. And this isn't a machine gun, it's just a big ass purse that I carry with me everywhere." She replied sarcastically.
