Is this how it ends? I thought to myself.

The looks on their faces didn't help much. Their expressions daring me to make a wrong move so they could scratch their itchy trigger fingers.

As I glanced around at them, I noticed how slow things had become. Almost as if time itself had stopped, leaving me the only one still able to move. That's when I noticed Juvia reaching out to me and running up towards me, causing her to drop Gray's body, as she shouted. "Wait!"

Then a tuff of blue hair came from the corner of my eyes and jumped in front of me. "Don't shoot!" They shouted. Staring at the person in front of me I realized that it was Levy. She had jumped in the line of fire with her arms outstretched, using herself as a shield.

Juvia following suit and making the same motion. Not sure what to do, I clung closer to Natsu, who still had yet to wake up. Whatever Erza did to these guys earlier must've been way too hard for them to still be unconscious even now.  He must have noticed because at that moment, he started moving. He rubbed his head and made a groaning sound. And as soon as he looked up, his head snapped around the room and pulled me closer to him. "What the hell? What's with you guys pointing your guns at us, have you all lost your minds? He asked.

"Natsu, who is that girl and why is she here?" The short haired girl asked.

"Her name is Lucy. We found her out on our run." Levy said.

"She's not a threat." Juvia chimed in.

"Juvia, Levy, get out of the way." A older man said. His hair was slicked back with not a hair out of place. He had a thick black mustache and a look of complete seriousness on his face. Standing next to him was a man that looked to be the same age with a pipe in his mouth. His hair wasn't as neat as the man next to him, but he adorned the same look on his face.

"Not a chance Macao. Not until you and everyone else lowers your guns." Juvia stated.

You could tell this annoyed the short hair girl because she scoffed and said. "She could be infected and you want us to lower our guard?"

"Do you really think that we would've brought her here if we thought that she was infected, Lisanna?" Juvia asked her.

"For all I know, you don't think." She rolled her eyes.

"What was that?" Juvia said now upset. Taking a few strides towards the girl, it looked Juvia was going to try and punch the girl. However, before she could get close enough to her, Gray had came and held her back. He must've gotten up when she accidentally dropped him trying to come and help me.

"You heard me. Or are you too stupid to understand?"

That was the trigger for Juvia. Her face turned to pure anger and she tried to jump around him. The operative word being tried. Luckily Gray's hold on his girlfriend kept her from lunging at the girl.

"Calm down everyone." A girl who looked to be not much older than me said as she walked past the crowd. She looked a lot like the girl causing us problems, except her white hair was long and she seemed nicer than this one. "There's no need for the hostility."

"Mira, thank god you're here cause otherwise your sister would've gotten a serious beat down." Juvia said to her.

"Lisanna, what have I told you about the way you treat people?" She said turning to the other girl, placing her hands on her hips. "It's not polite and you shouldn't be rude to people, especially not ones that we consider family."

The girl, Lisanna, avoided her sister's gaze and looked annoyed. "It's not my fault that Juvia's a pest. Gray should've picked a better girlfriend and fed this one to the zeeks a long time ago." She said ignoring her sister's words.

Once the words life her mouth, it pissed off not just Juvia, but Gray and that Mira girl too.

"Lisanna!"

Juvia tried lunging at the girl again causing Gray's hold on her to tighten. "Say that shit to my face you skank!"

"What did you just call me?"

"Natsu get your girlfriend!"

"She's not my girlfriend!" They all started arguing with each other. With Lisanna constantly throwing insults at Juvia, and Juvia throwing them right back. Luckily Gray's grip held her in place and didn't letting up for a second.

"Enough!" The older guy shouted annoyed and lowered his gun. "Geez you guys just keep acting like kids. Where's Erza?"

"Out front talking to Warren and Max." Levy answered.

"Alright, here's what's gonna happen, we're all gonna put our guns down..." he  looked around the room and gestured for everyone to lower their weapons. "and Levy you tell us what happened."

"We got to the city and were looking for supplies. Everything was going smoothly until half an hour into the mission, when Natsu just disappeared on us. Juvia thought the best thing to do was to forget the supplies and go looking for him before he could get himself killed." She started. "Erza disagreed and said that the important part was that we get the supplies. So she sent Gray and Juvia to get the rest of the supplies and had me keep watch to make sure that no zeeks got too close. Natsu showed up sometime before it was time to head out and had brought Lucy with him."

"Was there anyone else?" He asked to which she shook her head signaling a no as her response. "And why were Natsu and Gray unconscious when you guys got here?"

This time Juvia answered. "The boys got into it again, so Erza knocked them out to shut them up."

Nodding his head in understanding, the man took a deep breathe and started speaking again. "We'll deal with this when the old man gets back. For now, Natsu." he said catching Natsu's attention, "Take her to the infirmary and have Porlyusica take a look at her."

He nodded, then grabbed my hand and looked at me. "Come on, Lucy." But before we could get anywhere The Lisanna girl stepped in.

"What? No way are you going to make Natsu take care of this piece of trash. Have someone else do it."

"Lisanna!" Her sister shouted at her.

"You know, you don't have to be so rude." I said drawing their attention to me.

"Oh yeah?" She asked, taking a few steps towards me and staring me down. "And what are you gonna do about it?"

"Back off Lisanna." Natsu said standing in front of me keeping distance between the two of us.

Her head snapped to him with a look of confusion. She seemed genuinely upset that Natsu was the one standing in her way. "So you're going to defend this street rat now?"

"She's not a street rat, she's a survivor!"

"Shut up Levy and mind your own business!"

"What's your problem?" I asked.

She looked at me with disgust "What?" She asked.

"I said what's your problem? Since I got here, you've been nothing but rude to everyone. Saying all those horrible things to Juvia and being so mean to Levy. Look I don't know you and you don't know me, but this isn't how you treat people. And if you keep this up, you're going to end up alone. So why don't you stop acting like such a bitch."

Everything went silent as they all stared blankly at me. The looks on all their faces was the same. They were shocked. And to be honest, so was I. I couldn't believe the courage that washed over me to say that to her.  I mean I know what I said may have been harsh, but no one deserves such cruelty.

Just as I was beginning to think that I had only made he situation worse, someone bursts  out laughing. Someone else  joined in and then another. One after the other, people just started laughing at what I'd said. Eventually they were all laughing. All except Natsu and the others, who stared at me in disbelief. And Lisanna who was obviously unamused.

Her fists were clenched and her by her sides and her face was now a scowl. Her body gave off this dark feeling as she stared daggers at me. If looks could kill, I'd probably be six feet under by now. She was pissed and I guess I could understand why. I had insulted her in front of all these people and she was not happy about it.

I mean I know what I said may have been a little harsh, but you can't just treat people like that and get away with it.
