Chapter 3: Audition

    I wasn't ready for today. Natsu, my bully, found out who I really am. And some people know that I go to their school. No good! I stayed up all night practising the song. I put my usual pigtails and glasses on. I grabbed my bag and ran out the door. I run to school with toast in my mouth. I make it to school and realize I came too early. The school doors won't opened yet. But, there were people here other than me. As I walk through the gates everyone looks over at me. But...it wasn't the usual anger....it was more like worry?
   That's when two girl come up to me with presents in their hand. "Uh, we wanted to say sorry for treating you the way we have," she says. The girl next to her nods in agreement. They both show their presents and bow. "Please accept our apology!" I was in shock, "Eh, i-it's fine! Y-You didn't have to buy me anything though," I say. They look up at me, "Oh my god, you're so nice!" The girl next to her nods again, "Please, we insist!" I blink and smile, "Arigato!" I take their gifts. "Open them!" one girl insists. I do as she says, "Chocolates?" I say.
     I open it and cockroaches start crawling out of the box. I gasp and drop it to the floor. The girls gasp. I look up at them, "Haha, thanks for the prank," I say. They look at each other, "We swear, there was real chocolate in them!" I look at them confused and then I realize, "Weren't you Lisanna's friends?" "Ex friends," they corrected me. I threw the box away, "Lisanna must've done it then, thanks for trying though." I walk over to sit behind the stairs but see, "Na-" I cover my mouth to realize he's sleeping.
    I back away to try and avoid him. I turn around and see Lisanna standing in front of me. "Hello Lucy Flat Filia. Or should I say Celeste Heart!" I tense up, I try to leave but Lisanna pushes me to the ground and I hit my head on a stair step. "There's no way in hell my idol is a bitch like you!" I glare, "You're right, because I'm not her!" I say. Lisanna smiles, "Good!" She punches me and leaves. I hold onto my cheek on pain. "Here." I look behind me to see Natsu holding a cold water bottle. "For your cheek," he says.
     I stand up, "N-No thanks!" At that moment the bells were heard so I ran inside to be the first in class. I run into Mrs. Yukino's class since the whole day today will be in her class about the festival. Mrs. Yukino walks in the class. "Oh, hello Lucy." I look at her, "Please, let me sing to you right now! I don't want to sing in front of everyone!" Before she could answer kids started entering the class. I sighed annoyed and walk out of class. "I'll be waiting in the auditorium." I say.
     I walk to the auditorium and walk up stage. I sit on the stool and wait till the bell rings for first period. I decided to sing the song to myself. I grab the guitar that was on stage and tunes it.

     I suddenly hear people clapping. I turn to see the first part of my class was in the corner. I blushed, "Uh, I-" "You pass!" Mrs. Yukino announces. I blush even redder. "T-That was-" "Amazing," the class yelled out. I put the guitar down and slowly. "At least it was a small crowd," I say. "Nope, it was heard all around school, that's why we came in her in the first place," Natsu says walking on stage. "Wow, you were amazing!" Lisanna says glaring. I back away slowly, "I'm gonna go to the bathroom!" I say running towards it.
     I lock myself in one of the stalls. I heard a knock on my stall. "Hey! Lucy is it? You were awesome!" I walk out of the stall and see a short girl with blue hair that was slicked back with a headband. "A-Arigato." She smiles and enters a stall and I walk out of the bathroom. Everyone crowds around me and say the nicest things they've ever said. "Alright! Let's keep the auditions going!" Mrs. Yukino says. After an hour or two of people singing, Natsu was up. "Alright, Natsu Dragneel, your turn." I've heard Natsu play the guitar but I never really heard him sing on his YouTube channel. Natsu opens his mouth to sing. "Wow!" I say.
