Brandon
I didn't want to leave Shay's house, I just didn't want to talk about Hunter. Hunter's my older brother. He isn't nice like the rest of my family. Hunter is a "bad boy".
"Brandon?" Shay asks. I was sitting on her porch.
"Took you long enough." I say holding out my hand. She helps me up.
"Sorry." She says looking down.
"It's okay Shay. It wasn't your fault. You're a curious little nugget." I say laughing.
"I am, aren't I" She says joining in on the laughter. I side hug her.
"I love you boo." I say jokingly.
"I love you too nugget."
"I'm not the nugget you are."
"Fine.." Then my phone rings.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Hey Brandon. Shay's mom called Shay's coming over. Ashton, you, me, Shay and Hunter are going to dinner." My mom says.
"Hunter?" I whisper to myself.
"Brandon?"
"Oh yeah mom. We'll be over soon." I say hanging up.
"Come on." I say.
"Okay?" She says. We run to my house.
"Why are we here?" She asks.
"You're mom needs a break from the kids so Shawn is with Danielle. Sara and Seth are going to be with Sabrina, James and Liv and you'll be with me and my family." I say.
"Okay and wait, Sabrina's coming?" She asks.
"Yep." I say with a smile. Sabrina is her older sister. James is her brother-in-law and Liv is her 5-year-old niece who LOVES me. Not the cute love where she wants to play with me all the time. The crush love. When we get to my house, I knock on the door since it was locked. Hunter answers it. When Shay saw him she gasped. I heard her little squeal as she smiled.
"Hi. You must me Hunter. I'm Shay." She says sticking out her hand for a hand shake.
"And I couldn't care less." Hunter says pushing her hand aside not looking up from his phone. She looked at me.
"I told you." I whisper. I could tell she was hurt.
"All right. You ready?" My mom asks opening the door.
"Yeah." Ashton says looking up. "SHAY!" he yells, running to her and giving her a hug.
"Hey buddy." She says. Ashton is the same with Shay as Liv is with me. But it isn't as creepy. There is a 5 year difference between Ash and Shay. There is a 9 year difference between me and Liv.
"Alright. Go to the car everyone please." My mom says. We follow her directions. "No one in the front. Hunter, Shay and Brandon in the last row." She says.
"Ugh.." Hunter says as we get into the car. He hasn't seen Shay's face before. She's beautiful. He'll fall.. And she'll do the same. I'll lose my best friend. What will I do then?
