I walk over to the table with water bottles. There was a note under one of them. I pick it up and start reading it.
Hunter-
I'm sorry for everything I did to you. I'm sorry for everything I dragged you through. I should have just let you go after I cheated. No matter how badly I want this to continue, I don't deserve you. I don't deserve your love. I have never regretted anything like I have regretted cheating on you. So, I'm making everything better.
I love you. I always will love you. But this is best, for the both of us. You can finally be happy.
Don't call me, don't try to find me. But don't be sad. There is no reason for you to be sad. Move on. You don't need me. You'll find happiness in someone else. And I hope that they give you everything you've ever wanted. Because I know I can't.
