Brandon
I wake up and run downstairs to see my mom staring at her phone.
"Whatcha looking at?" I ask skipping over to her. She shows me her phone. I look at it. My jaw drops.
"Is that Shay? And Hunter? Cuddling?" I ask. She nods.
"I was as stunned as you." She sighs.
"They're hiding something."
"They can't be. Hunter maybe. But Shay tells me everything. She wouldn't keep this from me." I mumble running upstairs and grabbing my phone. I facetime her.
"Hey Shay." I smile when her face pops up on the screen.
"BRANDONN!!!" She squeals.
"What you doing?"
"Nothing. Hunter went to go get my food and I'm being fitted for my cast in like an hour and you have to come pick me and Hunter up after school." She smiles.
"Speaking of Hunter.. What's going on between you two?"
"Nothing."
"Shay I want the truth." I sigh.
"Nothing is going on between us." She says getting mad.
"I know your lying! My mom has a picture of you two cuddling. You don't cuddle with someone and it means nothing. If you want to lie to me go ahead. But don't expect me to be your friend after you lie." I say getting really mad. I hang up after I say that.
"Stupid. Stupid. Stupid." I repeat getting changed.
"Yeah you are stupid." My mom sighs as she walks past.
"You...Um heard that?"
"Yep. She won't want to see you after school." She sighs.
"Great. Mom we've been friends forever. What If this one fight gets in the way of our friendship."
"I know Shay. She won't let a fight ruin anything."
"The old Shay wouldn't. She changed. She lied to me." I say getting mad again.
"What if nothing is happening. Shay would tell you if she was dating someone. Shay would tell everyone If she was dating someone. I haven't heard anything. Meaning nothing is happening." She sighs before walking into Ashton's room to wake him up. After Ashton gets changed we go to school. Which was boring.... Like usual.
*After School*
I run to my mom's car.
"SHAY!!"I smile jumping in.
"You screwed things up with Shay remember?" She laughs.
"Right. Apology." I sigh. We go to the elementary school and pick up Ashton.
"SHAY!!" He smiles as he sits down. My mom smiles and drives us to the hospital. When we get there Ashton grabs my hand and runs me to her room.
"Sh-" He says before stopping in his tracks. I move him out of the way to see what was wrong. She was wearing a bright pink cast over her left foot.
"Are you okay?" Ashton asks her running to her side.
"Yep." She smiles handing him a marker. He looks at her confused.
"You can sign it." She laughs. He smiles hugely and writes his name on the cast. Then he hands me the marker. I write "Best friend was hereeee!!!!"
"I'm sorry for going off on you Shay." I sigh as I hand the marker back to her.
"It's fine." She smiles giving the marker to Hunter. I roll my eyes and continue to apologize.
"Brandon it's fine." She laughs holding out her hands. I pull her into a hug. I look at her cast to see what Hunter put. "HUNTA WAZ HERE" I roll my eyes and sit down.
"So would you mind explaining the picture I was sent last night?" My mom asks Hunter.
"Um. She was cold and I felt nice." He says with his arms crossed.
"Hunter just tell them." Shay whines.
"No." Hunter demands.
"HUNTER BRYCE ROWLAND!" She yells which makes me and Ashton laugh.
"BRANDON RYAN ROWLAND, ASHTON PRESLEY ROWLAND IS THERE ANYTHING FUNNY THAT I JUST SAID?" She asks which catches Ashton by surprise.
"No ma'am." I say trying not to laugh.
"I'm not telling." Hunter says.
"Fine. Then I will." She says.
"FINE! I'll tell them." He sighs. Tell us what?
