Hunter
I crawl into the back and sit down starring at my phone screen which was off. Shay sits next to me.
"Shay are you s-" Brandon starts.
"Yes I'm sure." She smiles. He shrugs and gets in. My mom looks back at us.
"Hunter phone." She says handing out her hand.
"No." I say. "Brandon." My mom says.
"I got it." Shay says grabbing my phone.
"HEY! Give that back!" I complain looking at her. Wow she's gorgeous.
"Here Ms. Rowland." She smiles giving my mom the phone.
"Thanks." I sigh starring at the floor.
"Groupie." She smiles pulling out her phone.
"Ugh." I groan.
"Please." She sighs. I end up taking the picture.
"You better not post that." I say watching over her shoulder.
"Oh I will." She smirks. Attitude. I like it. She posts it with the caption, "My second family." She tags me in it.
"Great, bad enough I have to deal with my family now you are a part of it too.." I sigh. She chuckles.
"You love me like your sister and you know it."
"You wish." I laugh. Look I'm a "bad boy". Or at least that's what my family calls me. I don't want to be a bad boy I just kind of started becoming one. It all started when I was 3. Brandon was a baby and he took all the attention from me. I began to be rude to everyone. It got me attention. I haven't really dropped the act. I want to but I just can't. When I broadcast it's the real me. I want Shay to break me. No I need Shay to break me.
"So. Hunter how has life been?" She asks.
"It was better before I met you." I say with a straight face. I regret saying anything mean to her. She has the power to break me. The question is will she recognize her power and use it?
"Okay then. I could say the same thing." She sighs. I chuckle.
"Was that funny?" She asks. I nod.
"Why?" She asks.
"You're trying to be a bad girl." I say laughing. We pull into the restaurant and we pile out of the car. My mom stops me.
"You behave!" She says quietly to me.
"Yeah whatever." I sigh walking away.
"Hunter Bryce Rowland I mean it!" She says loudly.
"Whatever." I say again walking to Shay.
"May I borrow your phone?" I ask Shay as a group of fans surround us. She rolls her eyes.
"Sure." She fake smiles .
"Cut the act." Brandon says under his breath. I roll my eyes as Shay unlocks her phone. I look at the background. It was a picture of her and Brandon. (It looks something like the one in the media but Brandon is wearing a shirt.) They would make a cute couple. I go to her camera and scroll through to find a lot of pictures of her and Brandon. She takes the phone away.
"What are you doing?" She asks sassily.
"Looking at your pictures..." I say slowly.
"Why?" She asks rolling her eyes.
"I wanted to." I say. She rolls her eyes and goes to sit next to Brandon.
"Nope." My mom says as I look at her with a death stare knowing what she was going to do.
"Brandon you're on this side Hunter and Shay on that side." She smiles.
"Mom. Shay's my friend she should sit with me." Brandon says as Shay moves. My mom gives him "the look".
"Fine." He sighs sitting next to Ashton. Shay sits on the inside and I sit on the outside. I slouch in my chair getting a dirty look from my mom. I stay slouching. The waitress comes so we order. She looks at me and rolls her eyes. Then she looks at Shay.
"Aww. You two are an adorable couple." She smiles.
"We aren't a couple." I sigh. Shay laughs. I give her the look that means shut up you're an idiot. She wraps her arm around my neck and kisses my check. My stomach explodes.
"What the hell!" I say trying to keep my bad boy act going. She laughs at the fact that I was freaking out and wiping my face where she kissed me. Brandon looks at her in shock. She giggles. He rolls his eyes.
"May I be excused?" I ask. My mom nods. I grab Shay by the arm and pull her with me.
"Let go!" She says as I pull her outside.
"You kissed me because?" I ask.
"Cause I wanted to." She says laughing.
"Don't." I say walking back in.
"Wait Hunter." She says.
"What?" I ask walking back to her.
"I know you aren't a real bad boy." She says.
"Ha you're funny." I say walking away again.
"Fine. You don't want to say the truth I'll make you." She says looking for a car. She spots one.
"What are you doing?" I ask. She doesn't say anything and continues to stand there.
