So to those of you who were previous fans of my original story, Pregnant to my brother, I've decided to make some major changes. I had written the original story about 3 years ago, and let me tell you, I was an amature. Therefore I decided to make it somewhat appropriate this time. It has the same concept along with the main characters. I'm just making the chapters longer, and changing the title.
So even if you read the story when I first wrote it, you might want to reread it. I think it's a lot better this time. And thank you to those who were still fans of it, no matter how short and horrible the chapters were. I'd also like to make a special dedication to the person who opened my eyes to realize that I need to put better detail, and actualy show what I'm trying to say. Thank you. Enjoy.
Chapter 1
It was as if the clock couldn't tick any slower. Time went in slow motion, and a mintue went by like an hour. My legs were shaking uncontrolably. I feared the muscles in my legs would soon give in. And the old biddy in front of the classroom would never let me leave. Let me just put it this way. I really needed to PEE! And I don't think I can wait any longer!
"Joey, calm down!" Amy whispered to me.
"I can't! I've had to pee all period! But you know how she is!" I said nodding to the wrinkled plum of a history teacher.
"Please, it can't be that bad." I glared at the boy who accused me of being a wimp.
"David, I drank two whole bottles of water during lunch. Do NOT tell me its not that bad. There is a waterfall dying to escape from my body!" I said trying to keep my mind occupied. "You guys may be my best friends, but you seriously are both asking for me to slam your heads into your desks."
"Damn, if she's this brutal when she has to pee, I wonder what she's like during her period." He squinted his eyes, seeming to be deep in thought. I rolled my eyes. He could be such an ass at times. But I love him to death. Along with Amy.
"Your such a motherhumper David." Said Amy. She tried to put on a face of disgust, but you could see the affection for him in her eyes. He stuck his tongue out at her playfully. They obviously both loved eachother. And it was my mission to get them together. It would be a lot easier too, if he didn't already have a girlfriend. Thats where my plan had come crashing down with a thud.
"RING, RING, RING!" My thoughts were peirced through by the magical bells that signaled school was over.
"HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, I NEED TO PEE!" I practically screamed running out of the classroom, not bothering to pick up my stuff. I could count on Amy for that.
"She really needs to stop drinking so much water. She knows she has the bladder of a squirrel." I heard Amy say in the distance. I would have turned around and stuck my tongue out at her, but at that moment, nothing mattered. My mind was consumed with thoughts of what would happen if I didnt make it in time to the bathroom. All the humiliation! Mostly by David and Amy. Along with that brother of mine. Rumors these days. Ugh.
I hurdled into the nearest restroom. The horrible stench hit me like a tidal wave. How are humans capable of creating such a foul smell? This should be illegal! I kicked down each stall hoping for one that was flushed. But apparently, animals go to this school. So no one knows what the meanings of "flush" and "wash your hands" are.
To be honest, I haven't been in a public restroom since the 7th grade. Man, that was one heck of an emergency. I had forgotten the urgency one feels when they REALLY have to pee. And it doesnt really help when your teacher doesnt let you go. They always ask that ridiculous question, 'Is it an emergency?" I mean, come ON! I have to use the restroom, I'm not bleeding am I? No. Is there a fire? No. Is the school going to collapse? No. Is the school suddenly going to be taken over by heard of monkeys? NO!
After I relieved myself, I had to go hunt down Amy and David. One of them had to have my stuff, right? I walked through the half empty hallways, in search of my best friends. The school was huge. So I decided to search the parking lot first. Maybe they gave my stuff to my brother? After all, he was my ride home. My hopes were beginning to fall as I decended the the front steps of the school. Where were they? They couldn't have left me like this, could they?
"Joey!" I felt relieved as I heard the familiar voice of my brother. I smiled and jogged to his car. "So I heard about your little emergency last period." he said smirking.
"Shut up Jesse. I like water, so what? Its good for your skin."
"Oh please, you cant be that thirsty all the time. Someday, your not going to make it to the bathroom in time. And I'm going to be on the sidelines laughing, saying I told you so." he said. I could see the humor in his eyes.
"Whatever, lets just go home. Oh, do you have my stuff?" I really couldnt risk loosing anything. I had homework in there!..... Hahaha not really, I was just worried about my journal.
"Yea, those little friends of yours gave it to me." he said handing me my bag. I sighed, grateful.
"Hey, you're only a year older than us!" I said exasperated. He always refered to us as little.
"Yea, but I like feeling older than you guys. It humors me." How is that even possible? Us being younger humored him?
"Were here." he said as we pulled up the rather large driveway. It was quite inconvenient to have such a large driveway when everyone was hardly home. Our father was a director, and our mother was an actress. Some big time people apparently. I hadn't really cared over the years. Even though they usually werent home, we had Luna to keep us company. As we stepped into the house, I heard the familiar clang of dishes in the kitchen.
"Luna, were home!" I said. She came out wearing a stained apron that wrote 'Never Trust A Skinny Cook".
"Hey kidos, how was school?" she said. Her hair was in a messy bun and she smelled of spices.
"It was fine. Whatcha makin'?" said Jesse.
"Its a suprise!" You could hear the excitement in her voice.
"Haha alright, well, we'll be upstairs." I said
"Dinner should be done in about 2 hours, don't miss it!" she said, mostly to Jesse.
"Hey!" he put his hands up in surrender. "I don't go out that much! That reminds me, I have to go meet Kelly today." I rolled my eyes. I couldn't stand that girl. To be honest, she was a slut.
"You better not miss dinner!" scolded Luna. "You know I always take left overs home with me for Jr. and Ronnie. And if you miss dinner, I won't be leaving you anything!" She had her own kids back at home. Jr. was 9 and Ronnie was 14. Her husband had left her when Jr. was 3. Ever since then she's been working at our home. Our parents knew her situation so they paid her good money. Especially because our house was so huge, it was hard to keep maintained.
"Deal." Jesse said as he took the stairs two at a time. Obviously in a hurry to get to that girlfriend of his. I couldn't even call her his girlfriend. Just another girl for one of his flings. I could never stand the girls he brought home. Neither could Luna. But she just let him be. She knew teenagers were always most likely to rebel no matter what adults said. Especially Jesse. He liked challenges.
