6. Soulmates

Seth was really curious about what was to happen next. Roman intertwined his fingers with Seth and took him to a corner of the room. There was an almirah lying against the wall that was very near to the corner of the room Roman and Seth were present at. Seth stood with his back facing against the almirah and Roman stood right in front of him. They were afraid that the janitors might probably see them, so they needed a place to hide.

"I was once happy." said Roman, gently squeezing Seth's hand in his. "I was once very happy and that was 11 years before."

Seth quietly listened to Roman. It looked like Roman was going to open up to Seth about something. "You know my weird habit of licking my thumb. I got bullied everyday at my previous school for that. I was lonely. I had no friends after you got shifted to another city. But I gave up my habit until I got admitted in my new school. It's this school. And there was this guy AJ Styles who became friends with me and made me feel better. On my first day at this school, I remember AJ troubled a boy who wore a new shirt on his birthday. He asked me, Gallows and Anderson to dirty his shirt. I followed AJ's commands and dropped squash from my bottle all over his new tee. And then I found myself smiling. It was real fun and that's how I started to get interested in bullying kids."

Roman continued. "I thought I'm all happy once again. But it was just the last year when I realized that true happiness is not something that I get by bullying people who don't deserve to get bullied. True happiness is something... that I had experienced with you before 11 years. I gave up bullying long back but the school still knows me as one big badass. I still have our old albums with me and looking at them is my favorite pastime as they remind me of what true happiness once felt like. I missed you Seth. I can't be more thankful to God for uniting us again."

By the time Roman was narrating his past incidents, he massaged Seth's palm warmly. He then moved up the massage towards Seth's arm and then his shoulder. "I feared to tell you this cause I didn't know how you'd take it." sighed Roman.

"Is that why you said you had always believed we would meet again?" asked Seth.

"Hmm."

"I'm so glad that you finally opened up to me. I'd never take you in a wrong sense because I understand you. You started bullying, cause you were bullied before. And you stopped bullying, ...cause you were bullied before. And remember, now that we're united again, I'll not let anyone take you away from me."

Tears started to build up in Roman's eyes as he was now sure that Seth understood him more than anybody else. If there was any person in the world who he could call his soulmate, that would be Seth. "I've never felt so alive in all these years, Seth. Thanks for making me feel alive."

Roman then moved the massage further up to Seth's neck and then stopped massaging him. Roman linked his other hand with Seth's hand, they laced their fingers together. Roman brought their hands close to his face and then placed a gentle kiss over the back of Seth's hand. He then turned his attention back to Seth's face to find Seth staring back at him with his curious big eyes. He loved the way Seth's two toned hair touched his shoulders sleekly. His heart raced as he thought he was very lucky to have Seth back in his life and he would never ever again lose him.

He leaned closer and closer to Seth's face slowly, it was more like he was getting drawn to the beauty right in front of him. Seth didn't know how Roman's kisses were like. He closed his eyes waiting patiently for Roman's lips to touch his. Roman finally pressed his lips over Seth's giving him a long lingering kiss. Seth only pushed his lips in and let Roman command over him. But what happened next was very different from what Seth had imagined. Roman was rather very gentle, he was not at all rough with Seth. Instead of clashing their teeth and tongues together, this time Seth could caress Roman's lips, they were way more softer than he thought. Their fingers were laced with each other below them while they were kissing each other deeply which made Seth feel loved, warmed and protected.
