how to: make your character fit in the story

here i will be teaching you how to make your oc fit into the show's plot line.

1. part of the 'popular crowd'
this is the most used form of making an oc fit into the story line. using this makes it easier for the character to be more involved with everything seen throughout the show. now i wouldn't prefer to use this method, but if none of the my other ideas appeal to you, then fell welcome to use this basic ass idea.

2. audrey and noah's friend
here is another basic ass idea. now i dont particularly like this idea because i prefer audrey and noah on their own instead of adding a third person into the group. but if this idea appeals to you, be my guest

3. emma's younger or twin sister
not one of my favorites because the thought of having the oc experience close to/the exact things emma goes just makes me cringe. this is my least preferred way to make a character fit in, just because it is so dammmnnn basic!!! sorry for the mini rant :)

4. jake's love interest
now this just screams (haha) jake fitzgerald fanfiction, which i have NO objections to. but if this is the way you choose to go, PLEASE dont make it cliche

5. one of their classmates
this is a more creative idea. i dont really know how this would play out a i have not used this tactic yet. but you could have them get suspicious of the main scream characters that we all know and love, and like sneak around them and shit, i dont fucking know. but just cause i gave a poor explanation of it, doesnt mean you dont have to use it.

6. will/eli love interest
i find these two male characters to have the least amount of fanfictions. personally, i love these two characters more than gustavo and jake. theyre just both tiny smol child's that deserved soooo much better!!!!! but this would give you the chance to make ur character v sad since they both unfortunately die in the end :(((

7. brookes sister
now, this DOES NOT mean that she has to be exactly like brooke. she/he can have whatever personality they want! but this would give insight to the murders even if your oc is not connected to brooke's friends
