Dirk Gently One Shots/Imagines

First encounter (Dirk x Reader)

A/N: I'm pretty new to the whole Imagines and One shots thing (or any type of writing at all), any tips on writing stuff like this would help a lot! I hope you guys enjoy!

You were a simple person living a simple life. You were sitting in a park sketching in your sketch pad, listening to (Insert favorite artist/band), when all of a sudden you felt a presence beside you, you kept your head in the direction of your sketch pad while you moved your eyes to glance over at the random stranger, or rather handsome stranger. You stop sketching and begin to put your stuff away when you hear a muffled voice over the ear buds you had on. Quickly, you pause the song and take both ear buds out of your ears and look towards the handsome stranger.

  "I'm sorry, were you talking to me?" You asked. The stranger nodded with a smile "Yes, I was. I asked why you stopped drawing, because you can draw really good" he exclaimed. You had blushed a bit at his statement "O-Oh thank you, what's your name?" The stranger had seemed to be daydreaming because it took him a while to answer. He realized this and snapped out of his daze and quickly answered "Dirk!" He clears his throat "Dirk Gently. And you?" He asks

  You gladly answer back "(Y/n) (L/n)"

Dirk smiled "Nice to meet you (Y/n), you're life, is about to get very interesting" he says.

And this was the start of a weird love story
