Dirk finally has his freedom. Blackwing has collapsed. Priest is dead. The Holistic Detective Agency is open for business, and business is booming. No longer watching over his shoulder, Dirk finally starts to relax, enjoying his newfound life and finally planning for a sure future. But he can never escape from his past - not really. When a ghost comes back to haunt him, and the universe threatens to rip apart at the very seams, Dirk has to muster every ounce of courage he has to work with his demons, rather than fight them.

The Winthrop triplets seem to have a pretty normal life. They're making money, living in a decent apartment, and at least one of them is moving on up in their career of choice. Everything seems normal. Then, each of them stumbles upon a crime of their own, and the only possible connection there is just the familial relationship between them. Or is it? Self-titled "holistic detective" Dirk Gently is on the case, and he believes that there's more connections than what meets the eye. Can he solve the interconnected cases before it's too late? This book is a work of fiction based off of the television production Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (2016). The character of Dirk Gently belongs to Douglas Adams, and the adaptation of the character and any other characters that are not originally mine belong to Max Landis. They've got a new case. But this time they're finally going through it as Detective and Assis-Boyfriend. When Todd's neighbor has a ghost in her apartment Dirk and Todd come to solve the case. Except they solved it much sooner than they anticipated, at least part of it. The universe is just getting started. This is just the tip of the iceberg, actually, no. It's the whole iceberg in the Arctic Ocean. Lots of (and ONLY) fluff lol Oh, and also blood, gore, and unnecessary violence but this is Dirk Gently (rather Bart) we're talking about here. Melpomene King is the name the people of Bergsberg used when they wanted their children to behave at night. For about 10 years ago, Melpomene dissapeared from the town, leaving no trace behind. People assumed she had been kidnapped, or murdered. But that is not the case. - x - WARNING: this is my first fanfiction. I have never published something of my own writing before, and would like some guidance, of sorts. This is a reader inserts, so there is some alteration to the story. I will try my best to not ruin it. There also will be slow updates, as I am really bad at this. I do not have any plans for it to have any relationships as of yet. Please read, and leave a comment!
