(Zen pov)
I began to make my way to the park.
My mother was a bit confused as to why I was in such a rush to go out, she must think I'm crazy!Seth is in that 'ghost form' of his and close by, I check every now and then to see if I can spot him. But he's getting pretty good at hiding.
(Normal pov)
Zen arrived at the large park, surprisingly it was empty, not many people go out for leisure time. They are more concerned about family and business to have any free time.
Zen layed down quietly on to the soft green grass and took out his earphones. He heard a sound next to him as he looked to see Seth fading into form and laying next to him.
Seth was still covering most of his head under his black hood. Seth seemed calm as his crimson eyes stared up at the clouds above. Zen glanced up at the blue sky and wondered what Seth found so interesting. But something was troubling him.
"Beautiful sky huh?" Zen asked as he turned his head to Seth.
"yeah but it's fake" Seth said in a clam tone.
"What do you mean fake?" Zen asked a little confused.
"Well the Angels have told us that the real sky and atmosphere is horrible and toxic so they built a giant dome that simulates the a natural sky that our old planet Earth had" Seth explained.
"That's why we don't have planes anymore, let alone any flying machines, they can't bare the risk of someone damaging their 'beautiful' sky" he continued with a small smirk.
"Oh I see, so the rain and snow.. That's..?" Zen was cut off.
"Fake all fake... it's all man-made!" Seth butted in.
"So what about my 'powers'? they could be fake too, I might not have any!" Zen proposed.
"Don't be stupid of course you have powers, just... not yet" Seth said looking over at Zen.
"So what power would you want?...If you could choose" Seth asked.
"Well I'm not sure really" Zen said with an unsure tone.
"Come on! how about, invisibility like me or fire powers, flying, super vision, super speed, immortality... Come on you think of some!" Seth laughed.
"Ok ok em... laser eyes, water breathing or mind control or Em.. shapeshifting I guess" Zen guessed with a happy smile.
"let's just hope your power isn't to turn into a fluffy pink bunny" Seth joked as he closed his eyes.
"Ha ha yeah that would be awful" Zen agreed as they lay close together.
They rested for a moment as the area fell strangely silent. Zen layed flat with both legs down whereas Seth had one leg crossed over the other and his hands behind his head.
With one sudden movement Seth rose to be sitting up. His red eyes fixated into the distance. Seth's ears twitched from under the hoodie as he could hear something.
"Zen don't let go of me, ok?" He said quickly as he grabbed Zen's arm. Seth quickly formed his black mist around himself and turned him and Zen invisible.
Zen was a little confused as he asked Seth what the problem was.
"What's going on?""Slavers" Seth whispered quietly as he watched their figures from a safe distance.
Zen followed Seth closely as he tightly held onto his arm. Both boys pulled their hoodies over their faces just in case they were seen.
They approached the side of a road that led up to the park. The slavers had arrived in large and secure vans that they used to transport slaves.
