Complete rage

Night gritted her teeth and said, "Jamie, go into my room and don't get out till I say so, you too Michael." She looked around and grabbed some herbs. "Damn it, I knew I should have killed him in the start. "She cursed. She grabbed a small pouch and put the herbs inside. She mumbled something and said, "Leave this on you. Okay? Do not take this off. It will last you for two hours that should you longer than needed." She put it around Jamie and said to me, "Put salt in a circle around you. Also, take this, it's been dipped in holy water and blessed. Just in case if he gets close to you." She said this while handing me a dagger. I nodded and asked, "Can you handle this by yourself?" She nodded and said, "Jamie is my priority. I can handle anything if she wants me to."

She started to leave the room when Jamie said, "Big sister, please come back!" She stopped and said, "I'll will. You need to get to that room. I won't let him by you." She continued walking and ran out the door.

I grabbed the girl's hand and we went up the stairs. I locked the door and I went to find salt. She had a large bag in her closet. I poured it around the bed and Jamie sat inside. I stood outside and had the dagger in my hands. I soon to realize Night didn't have a weapon in her hands. How she can fight something without one? I looked out the window to see her in the alley away from the store. A man was standing in front of her and she was pissed. "Jamie, who is he?" I asked. Jamie was crying and replied, "He was the one that killed my dad." What? I heard Night said she was going to call him. She was adopted?

I looked back to the window and the man was laughing. I saw night kneeling and had her head down, she seemed to be mumbling something. She stood back up and something emerged from her back. It looks like a tail. She was yelling something and the man laughed. She clenched her fists and snarled, the man stopped laughing and sneered. She leaped in the air and over him. She used the tail and tried to stab him. She missed but she used the opportunity to land a punch on his face. He fell forward and caught himself. She grinned and looked up. She saw me and raised her hand. She closed the blinds and bind them together. She has psychic powers? That's why she put me to sleep. She didn't want me to know what she can do. I looked at Jamie and she was holding her knees.

I looked back to the window and tried to pry open the blinds. I finally took out the blinds and Night was in the middle of a pool of blood. Her clothes were covered and she looked up again. She gave me a look and started to walk back to the store. The walls and the ground was splattered with blood again. What does she do to get that much blood everywhere?

I heard a knock on the door and it was Night. Jamie saw her and ran to give her a hug. Night smiled and assured her he won't bother her again. She looked at me and said, "You saw everything?" I shook my head and she nodded with approval. I only saw her tail thing and the blood. She lied to me that she only had bloodlust. I looked at Jamie and she was smiling.

I guess Night will do anything for that girl. Night ruffled the girl's hair and said she's still going to make breakfast.

Night walked past me and said "I do assume you won't tell anyone what you saw?" I nodded and she breathed a sigh of relief. "Why did you kept it a secret from me?" I asked. She glared at me and said, "I only share things if I knew you for over a year. I knew this girl since she was born. She is now seven. I trust her more than anyone." She stopped and sighed. "I'll tell you everything you need to know later. Now, I plan to spend time with Jamie and take her back to her parent." She said calmly. I nodded with agreement and she went back to the kitchen.

It was minutes later when I smelled something cooking. She brought out plates and set them in the counter. Jamie went on a chair and started to eat. She was smiling at Night and said it tasted great. Night smiled at the compliment and set down more plates. She had a salad in front of her and she took a bite. I guess she doesn't eat much after eating a lot of things. She took a pint of blood from me and ate two people. "Big sister, why aren't you eating?" She asked. Night set down her fork and said, "I ate too much already. After all, that means there's more for you." She smiled and Jamie continued eating.

I set down my fork and said, "Is there anything that needs to be done today?" Night shrugged her shoulders and said, "I know I need to take Jamie home and that's all I can think about right now." She looked at the girl and her plate was finished. Night half smiled and said, "Good job. We need to take you back now." Jamie pouted and said, "You will be, here right?" Night nodded and replied, "Of course, just call me or visit if you need anything. I'll always be here." The girl's eyes lit up and she smiled. I kept looking back and forth at them and listened to their conversation. I can easily confirm they spent time together.

She picked up the plates and set them on the counter and said, "We're off!" She grabbed her bag and opened the door. We left the store and she locked the doors.

We walked to an apartment building and she knocked on the door. A man opened the door and Jamie smiled. Night looked down to her and said, "Visit anytime if you need anything." She ruffled the girl's hair and started to walk away.

I followed her back to the store and she hasn't said anything. "Night, are you okay?" I finally asked. She nodded and replied, "Yes, I just need to rest for a while." She started to stagger to the door and her hands were trembling when she unlocked the door. I held my hand out and caught her before she fell. She shook her head and pushed my arms away from her. "I can get there myself. I don't need any assistance." She straightened herself up and hurried to her room. I heard the door slam.
