I planned to go to school but I was interrupted by a phone call. I was unsure why an unknown number will call me. I blocked every telemarketer.

Anyway, it was very strange, I decided to decline it. Now to continue, I missed my first class, not a problem.

I'm sorry, I'm doing it again. I don't mean to bore you. I'll move along.

I made the risky decision to go to that shop. I looked it up and it was very popular. Surprisingly, it was well known in the area and she is the owner of the store. I'm impress actually.

I walked to the shop to find her behind the counter. She was reading a book and looked up. "Hello, can I help you with anything?" I nodded and looked around. It was empty. "Yeah, I need more information about my heritage." She set her book down and nodded. "We can talk over tea. I'll start the kettle. Please select the tea you'll want." She got up and left the room.

I walked around and most of the things I never heard of. "I forgot to ask you if you have any taste preference." She poked her head out of the door way. The tea yesterday was bitter. "Anything sweet I guess." I said while picking up a canister. She nodded and pointed at a shelf. "I have pre-sweetened tea on that shelf. They're mostly fruit nectar that sweetens it." I put the canister down and walked to the other side of the store.

I heard the kettle whistled and it stopped. I quickly grabbed a canister and went to the counter. She had a tray and set it down and I handed her it. She looked at it and nodded. "I like this one, an excellent choice." I nodded with agreement and she dropped some leaves in the teapot. "Please follow me to a different room. I might have to grab some books but it won't take long." I nodded and I followed her to a room.

It wasn't the same room from before. She set her tray and said, "To prevent the incident to repeat, please don't touch anything. "

"Sorry about that, I won't touch anything." I said while sitting down on a chair. She nodded with approval and left the room again.

Minutes later, she came in with some books and said, "These will be visuals when I have a topic to discuss about. Do you have any questions?"

"Why do you have to take medications?" I asked while she sat down.

"In able to blend in with humans, I can't be seen consuming one." She replied calmly.

"What is the purpose of this shop?" I asked.

"There's people like us. Like one in a thousands are a half blood. There's about a hundred in this area if not, more. I provide the necessities that are needed in this area. There are certain herbs that will help maintain certain situations. Like me, there's people that need herbal medication to provide the camouflage to blend in." She said after taking a sip of tea.

"Does this tea do anything?" I asked after examine the cup.

"No, this is a normal tea. A blend I made for my human costumers. Many humans come here to buy tea also. The half-bloods speak with me privately if they need anything. This particular tea is a favorite in the human population." She replied.

A bell ring and she set her cup down. "Please excuse me." I nodded and I followed her out of the room.

A man was panting and wheezed, "It happened again. Night, help me!"

She nodded and said, "I only have enough to last you for a week."

He looked up and his eyes were different. He had blood on his chin and he looked at me. "You smell nice."

"Leave him be." She glared at him and he looked away.

"Is that your prey?" he asked

She stiffened and replied calmly, "No, I do not plan to eat a half blood."
