i layed on the couch on my phone, about to facetime mike.

"hey baby." i said into the phone.
"hey..." he said immediately putting me on pause.
"oh. nice. because i definitely wanted to see a pause screen. that's totally why i facetimed you." i smiled.
"uh- yeah um.. sorry"
"baby get off the phone and come tease me.." i heard a voice say in the background.
"hey, uhm malory wha--what are you doing?"
"no what are you doing mike? who was that in the background??? was that olivia??" i angered.
"no. no baby noone is here...that was the uhm, tv..."
"mike why are you stuttering?" i asked .
while he was explaining i gestured for jack to come over here and listen to the background.
i pressed mute and said, "jack.... is that olivia??"
i pressed unmute.
"uhh yeah i am just cold thats all hold on let me go to a different room."
"mikeeeee babyyy" the voice called again.
"MIKE WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WITH OLIVIA!!!????" i yelled into the phone.
"im not malory i promise!" he whispered.
"take me the hell off pause right now!!!" i yelled as a tear fell down my face.
he took me off pause and i saw a huge hickey on the side of his neck and Olivia sitting on the bed next to him.
i hung up the phone, threw it across the room, and ran upstairs to the bathroom...jack watching the whole thing go down.
after about 10 or 15 minutes of crying, i heard soft knocks on the bathroom door where i was, balling my eyes out.
"its unlocked." i quietly spoke.
he opened the door and his heart just broke when he saw me crumbling to pieces on his floor, not able to do much moving except for shivering and rolling slowly.
"malory ... i-"
"im so done jack im so done.... im never enough for anyone!!! ever!! my mom doesnt give a fuck about me nor does my dad, i dont have any other family members. my ex boyfriend cheated on me in freshman year and my senior year boyfriend did to... you will never feel the same way about me as i feel about you. i just cant get ahead jack. and im done. im weak. i cant handle all of this anymore its too much...."
he picked me up off the ground and embraced me in his arms as i just cried even harder if that was possible.
"mal....you are enough. for me, for everyone.... but not everyone can live up to your worth. youre so good malory. so beautiful, nice, funny, smart, loyal....fun....not everyone has the capability of handling that much greatness.... yeah, mike fucking cheated on you okay? it happened? but it was with my girlfriend. the girl i thought i would soon marry. yeah youre taking this a lot harder because youve lost so much, but this hurts me too babygirl. it will be okay. everything will be alright."
"you say that but it wont jack it just wont!!! i am never to going to love someone as much as i love you!! okay!? i LOVE you jack!!! mike was a distraction because i didnt want to homewreck you and olivia!!!! jack its you its been you and what hurts is you dont see that!! either you dont or you dont care!??? you say im enough and im all thesr great things but you don't believe them yourself. thats the sad fucking truth. and i cant deal with sad truths anymore." i took a pause. "ive been through too much."
i stood up and looked at myself in the mirror.
then started to slap the shit out of myself.
jack came up to me and tried to make me stop but i kept going i kept fucking going until i had welts on my cheeks.
then i turned to the left side and did the same thing.
"you worthless slut!!! no one will EVER LOVE YOU!!! " i yelled at the top of my lungs at myself. tears streaming down my face.
my knees weakened and i fell to my knees.
by this time, jack was crying too.
"malory im so so so sorry!"
"YOURE NOT !!!!! YOU ARE NOT SORRY FOR YOUR FEELINGS JACK!! YOU DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ME YOU DONT GIVE A FUCKING FUCK ABOUT ME JACK!!!!"
"THATS WHERE YOU ARE WRONG MALORY!!!"
he yelled and it was silent for a few seconds.
"i love you.... "
"jack no you-"
"I DO MALORY I LOVE YOU I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU WHY DO YOU THINK I TRIED TO GET OLIVIA??? because i wanted to PISS YOU OFF!!! MAKE YOU BEG FOR ME!!! BUT YOU WENT OFF AND GOT MIKE AND JUST---"
i pressed his lips into mine and our tears intertwined.
his hands went up to my head and we passionately kissed for about 2 minutes.
but when we released...nothing was the same.
