Darius's POV:
My eyes followed her as she walked through the school, my angel. She was just as beautiful as when I left her.At first I was planning on just being her friend again, but all that went out the window once she smacked me in the face. I loved that she was clumsy, and expressive, competitive (one might say to a fault) and yet also so caring.
After dropping her off at her house my little sister teased me nonstop. Saying that Winnie and I would get married and have children together. I would have been annoyed, but I was imagining those exact moments.
What would Winnie look like walking down the aisle? How many kids would we have? What would they look like? What would it feel like to wake up next to her each morning?
Later that night my mom caught wind of me bringing Winnie home and began planning our wedding. So everyone in my family was on board with me and Winnie becoming a couple. I'm not so sure if Winnie is on board though... But no matter. I planned on totally sweeping her off her feet.
"Darius!" A pair of manicured fingers snapped in front of my face. I instantly felt a frown take over my face. Juliet.
"What, Juliet?" I asked, hoping she could hear my annoyance and take the hint.
"I just wanted to ask you if you were going to the game tonight." Her voice was whiny and high pitched. I could feel a headache beginning.
"No, I wasn't. I already have plans." I said, looking around the hall, trying to find Winnie.
Juliet scowled, grabbing my face and turning it towards her, "I'm over here." She said, her brown eyes boring into mine aggressively.
"Listen, Juliet. I'm not interested. I like someone else, not you." I growled, prying her claws off my face as I spotted Winnie.
She looked absolutely gorgeous with her blonde hair cascading like a waterfall around her, and her blue eyes sparkling. She wore a big smile and was chatting with the girl I saw her with yesterday.
I turned away from Juliet to approach Winnie, and I heard a high heel stomp the linoleum. Why were immature girls always the ones chasing after me?!
I walked up to Winnie and almost growled when I noticed a guy next to her.
"Hello, Winnie!" I said, intentionally interrupting her and the guy's conversation. He was pretty small compared to me, but I never underestimate my enemies. He would be an enemy if it turned out that he was after my girl.

Hey guys,
It's been....... a while. 😅 This chapter is where I left off however many years ago. I just wanted to clarify that this book has been discontinued for now (unless I get some crazy bust of inspiration). I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone, but I don't want to half-ass this book. I added discontinued to the title since I felt bad about so many new people coming to read this and not noticing it was older.
Anyways, if you are looking for COMPLETED books to read now that you are sort of left on a cliffhanger (sort of not really), check out my reading list "Happy Endings", they made me happy and I highly recommend them! 🥰
