~Elizabeth's POV~

I slowly opened my eyes. After a moment of streching I heard a knock on my door. I rubbed my eyes then got up and went over to the door. I opened it and there was Elaine carrying several dresses.

"Oh. Hello Elaine." I said. As she walked in.

"Hello Lady Elizabeth." She said as curtsied.

"Here are some clothes for you." She said, laying the dresses on the bed.

"I will be your personal handmaiden." She smiled.

"Oh. Okay. Thanks." I said.

"And don't worry about your friends they also have been taken care of." She assured me. I smiled as she started to put away the very elegant and beautifully made exquisite dresses. When she finished Elaine looked at me.

"That will be all thank you." I told her. She curtsied and left.I went over to the closet and opened it. I ran my hand over one of the dresses.

"This must be pure silk!" I thought to myself as my jaw dropped.

"These are fit for, well, nobility." I chuckled to myself. I closed the closet and sat on my bed and looked around the room. I hadn't really paid attention to the details before because I had been so tired but now I realized that the drapes on the window were of silk and designed with pearls and everything was so elegant and exquisite.

"Well I am in a palace." I reasoned with myself. I went back over to the closet and pulled out one of the six dresses Elaine had brought me.

It was a beautiful dark blue velvet dress with silver decoration and medieval silverbelt. It was very long and had those kind of sleeves where it hangs low on the wrist. The neckline was high and there some silver along it. I quickly changed it into it and folded my other clothes I had been wearing and put them in the top drawer.

"I feel so elegant in this

"I feel so elegant in this." I said to myself as I spinned around. I soon heard a knock on my door. I went over and opened and in entered Megan, Millie, Adah and Camille. They were all wearing dresses similiar to the ones Elaine had brought me.

"Do my eyes decieve me or is Camille actually in a dress." I teased and Camille rolled her eyes.

"I know right?" Megan said giggling.

"Alright so how have you settled in Elizabeth?" Camille asked changing the subject.

"Wonderful! Have you layed on these beds they are amazing. I love canopy beds. But it's not just the fact it's a canopy bed it's just so soft and the pillows too." I said enthusiastically. Just then someone knocked on the door and when Camille opened in came the guys.

"Hey." I said smiling primarily looking at John.

"Hi." Edward said.

"How are you guys settling in?" Megan asked.

"Just fine." Henry replied just when there was another knock on the door.

"Who could that be? We are all here." Millie said. I went and opened the door and in came Elaine.

"Wonderful you are all here. The king has cordially invited all of you to the ball he is throwing in your honor. It is tomorrow at nightfall." Elaine said smiling. She then curtsied and left.

"Tomorrow night? That's very little notice I mean what if we had plans?" Henry complained. I glared at him.

"When the king invites you to a ball he is throwing in your honor you change your plans." I told him.

"And anyways what plans could you possible have we just got  here today." Megan added.

"Ok. Ok. Relax I'm going." Henry gave in.

"Didn't a servant bring you guys clothes to wear?" Millie asked.

"Yeah. We just prefer our clothes." Edward responded.

"But when you go to the ball you MUST wear the clothes they give you. They must think we are very weird in these clothes." I said.

"Ok fine." Edward gave in.

"Well we'll leave you be, goodbye." Camille said and they all left. When they were all gone I sighed happily.

"A ball. A real royal ball." I smiled to myself.
